For those who need clarifying of what the title means, it means who is going to have the better season, the Bucs or Panthers? I really don't have to tell you who I'm going to pick, do I? But I will.

My choice: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Look at the stat standings.

Offensive:

Bucs- 18th
Panthers- 29th

Defensive, (yards allowed):

Buccaneers- 2nd
Panthers- 16th

And this was only last season. The Panthers defense isn't horrible, but their offense is. I know, Defense Wins Championships. But it is hard to win without an offense. Jake Delhomme is back, but how do we know he is going to be nearly as good as he was before the injury. Steve Smith is good...but one wide reciever? Not going to help too much.

Now for the Bucs. They have a good offense. Jeff Garcia is old, but he still has juice left in him, and if he can't get the job done, Chris Simms, Brian Griese, and the rookie, Josh Johnson, can fill in for them. The runningbacks ae great. We have Williams, Graham, Dunn, and Bennett who are all four great runningbacks. Galloway is old, but is still good, and Michael Clayton is finally getting in a groove, just as Hillard is.

I will get the defense next. Good luc

The Carolina Panthers will have a better year.

Argue statistics all you want...

But it's basicly arguing statistics from a Pre Season game- pointless, and I'll tell you why.

The QB is the most important position on the football feild, no doubt. I don't care what you're argument is a QB is the leader and the decision maker so here's s break down of the Panthers' QB situation.

- Vinny Testaverde and David Carr were the 2 leading passers for the Panthers of last season.
- Jake Delhomme injured before the 4th game ( elbow will now become stronger, not injury prone to his throwing arm anymore)
- Moore was discovered at basicly the last minute ( security at backup)

So consider that when David Carr, a 43 yr. old retired QB and a RB named DeShuan Foster are the leaders of an offense... your offense will...SUCK!

But the Panthers have improved at nearly every possible Offensive and Defensive position on the feild. I have 950 characters left so I will basicly sum up my arguments:
- QB = No Problem
- WR= No problem
- RB = Solid Dynamic Duo
- OL = Stronger, Better
- DE = Better ( will explain later)
- DT = Better (dido)
- LB = Better
- Secondary = Improved, more dep

Don't have time, sorry.

Sorry about the confusion Buc- I went ahead and picked one hope it's okay.
I won't accept your draw if I am loosing, okay?

Why would you start off comparing last years teams. Especially since the Panthers's were decimated with injuries.
