"5. A little people love hijm but hate him at the same time Tito Ortiz."

Well I'm sure that more than just 'little people' like him. Some average sized people do too.

I'll take out Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin and replace them with Kimbo Slice and George St. Pierre.

My reasoning:

Say what you want about Kimbo, but he is popular. He is constantly talked about. This isn't about who is better, it's about popularity, Kimbo has popularity.

GSP is the most popular in Canada. You said it's "most popular in the nation" and in the nation of Canada, GSP is tops.

Tito stays on my list, because he was on the Celebrity Apprentice so people who don't follow MMA now know him.

Remember, it's not about who is better, it's about popularity.

Forfeited Turn

Brett Favre.

Forfeited Turn

You were clearly in awe of my TD, prowess, which made you forfeit 2 turns. This is a terrible TD, I apologize to anyone who read it.

I don't think I would have taken Chuck Liddell off the list if I were you Roberts. That guy is pretty popular. I would have probably put Brock Lesnar on the list though just because he has the following of not just the MMA fans he has won over since he started fighting, but also the old wrestling fans that he had from his days in WWE. The old wrestling fans may not know jack about MMA but they still follow him because of his days in the WWE. It's really no different that Kimbo in that he may not have a well rounded game in MMA he still has all the Youtube junkies who think he is the man even though most of them know jack about MMA as well.

Wildbill, I'm just doing this for fun. As you can tell from our other TD, Peach isn't feeling so peachy.

August 29, 2008  04:24 AM ET

If I could've done one, I would've just put Kimbo.

August 29, 2008  04:39 AM ET

GSP really belongs on the list. He's right up there on the P4P list - He isnt ducking anybody - and he's rumored for all these dream match-ups now...with Silva, with Penn.

But yeah, I agree with wildbill...Liddell is still a top draw for UFC and belongs on the list.

Forest is not in my top 5. Probably not even top 10.

August 29, 2008  04:48 AM ET

Actually, definitely not in my top 10.

August 29, 2008  04:56 AM ET

I almost took this just to argue straight from whatever I could look up since I know or care NOTHING about MMA. I probably should have.

August 29, 2008  05:03 AM ET

Wait a minute CCC...Are you attempting to conjur up you TRICKS again? That's not really FAIR.

August 29, 2008  05:20 AM ET

As far as popularity goes I think Chuck Liddell has to be there. He is almost a house hold name. Kimbo is probably one of the most recognizable.

"Wait a minute CCC...Are you attempting to conjur up you TRICKS again? That's not really FAIR."

Yeah, that's me. The unfair trickster.

Yoda I personally waivered a little on Forrest, too. I think it should have been stated in the opening argument whether he is talking about most popular to MMA fans or general public. For general public I think Forrest should be on there because of winning the Ultimate Fighter and going on to be champ, but for MMA fans I could think of at least 10 who are more popular I think, too.

Peachy, when you say most popular in the nation, is it the US or Fannation?

August 29, 2008  10:56 AM ET

Anderson Silva
Kimbo Slice
Brock Lesnar
Rampage
Chuck Liddell

August 29, 2008  10:57 AM ET

No one can top my list. Lol!

August 29, 2008  11:12 AM ET

RobertMenn does have the best list.

August 31, 2008  01:27 AM ET

Gotta vote right here. Roberts put up a good arguement and the Peachy one forfeitted a turn.

Is this a new tactic, Peachy? Can't say anything stupid if you don't say anything at all?

August 31, 2008  09:28 PM ET
