Mine has to be Pittsburgh and Clemson.

1st state then argue.

I say they are not your favorites.

I say that you enjoyed watching VT go down more.

Proof:

1. When VT was struggling through a hard time with the shootings, you refused to buy a shirt or even a VT hat.

2. Your great-great-great-grandfather was a pirate on the S.S. Ja Booty. Eastern Carolina are the Pirates... BOOM!

3. A Hokie is a bird....a Falcon is a bird. The Falcons are your favorite NFL team. Falcons were feeling threatened by the Hokies. The Hokies now have the same amount of wins that the Falcons will have in week 16.

4. You have found a disgust in Michael Vick. Vick went to VT! BAMM!

What? oK?

Anyways, Pitt was ranked and their runningback has gotten a lot of publicity.

The ACC favorite went down to Alabama who didn't let the two headed monster in Spiller and Davis DO ANYTHING!

Bowling Green beating a RANKED TEAM was GREAT.

Clemson fans making the trip to the Georgia Dome were shut down by that BAMA D!@

5. The East Carolina Mascot is Pee Dee the Pirate. You are known as Wee Wee the Butt Pirate. See the likeness? (cant make this up folks).

6. The slogan of the state of Virgina is "Virginia is for lovers." Besides your hand, you havent seen a lover in the past 10 years. More reason to root against VT.

7. The state shell of North Carolina (where East Carolins is located) is the Scotch Bonnet. "The shell of this species can sometimes grow as large as 10 cm (4 in)"- Wikipedia. Remind you of something? You can related to it! Bamm!

8. North Carolina's state fruit is the Scuppernong grape... nuff said.

9. Vince McMahon, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore, and Gregory Helms were all born in N.C. And Ric Flair currently lives there. If we know one thing about Peach is that he loves his men on men soaps!

10. Chris Daughtry was also born in NC. Can you look me in the eyes and honestly say you didnt vote for him when he was on American Idol? No.. you cannot.

Well, looks like i lost another one folks.

I would rather see a number #9 seed and a #25 seed lose. The first week was a bunch of mismatches but these two upsets were GIAGANTIC.

Yeah, i love my men soaps.

Yo Tejada, how are you Orioles doing? I don't keep up with them at all just wondering.

Anyways, Alabama's D shut down one of the best runningback tandems in the game and Pitt's coach Dave W.'s job in JEOPARDY!

I would now like to take the time to compare Peach and VT football

1. First came on the scene-
VT: 1892
Peach- 2005

2. Wins-
VT: 637
Peach- 218

3. Losses-
VT: 417
Peach- 519 (soon to be 520)

Now lets look at that. In 116 years, VT football has lost only 417 games. In roughly 3 years, Peach has lost 102 TDs more than VT has lost games.

4. Accomplishments-
VT- 6x Conference Champs
Peach- Started the most TDs on scripted sports in one day. (interesting fact- he lost all of them (shocker!))

5. Strongest Attribute
VT- O-Line
Peach-.....uhh.... let me get back to you here.

6. Weakest Attribute
VT- Wide-Outs
Peach- ........i only used around 700 characters and i still dont have enough room for this!

Alabama looked great.

August 31, 2008  07:59 PM ET

yeah, they looked REAL good.

August 31, 2008  08:10 PM ET

Haha, nice way to take it, Gu3.

August 31, 2008  08:24 PM ET

Clemson wasn't an upset IMO. Sure they were rated high but with Clemson I believe it when I see it.

ECU vs VT was my favorite of the day. Its always better when a small school beats a big program

August 31, 2008  08:57 PM ET

Appalachian State over LSU...Oh, wait...

August 31, 2008  09:11 PM ET

ECU vs VT because I go to ECU and the parties were huge that night haha

August 31, 2008  09:22 PM ET

LMAO - funny take on the TD Gu3

August 31, 2008  09:51 PM ET

I hate you Peachy

August 31, 2008  09:55 PM ET

I just hate you all.

August 31, 2008  10:00 PM ET

GU3, you better not send this out to the FN community. Roy will bring his wrath down upon you if you do. (even though he's not a member of the community)

August 31, 2008  11:20 PM ET

Who is Roy? And people need to get off this. It is completely appropriate to send td link via group mail.

It is the reason the site created the ability. It gets people to weigh in. Asking for votes is another beast. It would be one thing if this site kept all TDs on the list of open and closed TDs but it doesnt many fall off. Especially when morons come on and flood the site with great questions such as coco or fruity pebbles.

August 31, 2008  11:30 PM ET

LMAO Sooner, that was a joke.

You might want to know what's going on before going off on a rant.

Gu3 your first argument was clever. The second went way overboard into childish name calling and personal insults. I can't reward the Ruby Noon approach to TDing. I'm gonna have to change my vote here and go left. Peachy at least tried to make an argument, such as it is.

These are not legitimate debate statements. I understand you are trying to be funny but save calling the man names, supposing his love life, and insulting the size of his sausage for the comment section.

Methinks Yoda has created a monster, here. ;-)

Don't thank me, Peachy. I call 'em as I see 'em. And I call 'em UNBIASED. In this instance, I simply think GU3 was outta line.
