Jamaal Berry just committed to OSU! Does his "SEC Speed" stay in Florida?

All the Buckeye haters think the Buckeyes can't compete with the SEC schools because OSU has no speed. Now that the 5 star running back who runs a 4.31 40 has commited to Coach Tressel will he automatically get slower?

My answer is not because southern speed is **** tail !!!


Well, see, the thing is this. He WILL automatically get slower.

Why? Well, as we can see with you, OSU fans are very excited. Finally, a player at ANY position who moves quicker than an SEC offensive lineman! BUT... when he gets off that plane, the OSU fans will mob him... and swarm him... and jump on him... and in the chaos he will break both of his legs.

However, he will heal. He'll rehab and come back faster than ever for a redshirt freshman year. However, once Jim Tressel will be fooled. After a 9 month drug binge with frequent blackouts, the party hardy Tressel will believe that he still has Chris "Beanie" Wells on his roster. Anytime Berry attempts to run a sub 4.55 speed, Tressel will demand he slow down and instead work on running directly at the SEC defenders and attempting to break their tackles.

Other possibilities include: Berry fins out his cousin committed him to OSU. And in his fastest juke ever, he reneges on his commitment and signs with LSU.

Or, in the most likely situation of all, Tressel refuses to play Berry on offense so he doesn't risk injury and can man the all important "gunner" spot on punt returns.

buckeyes choke? How quickly the '02 upset of Miami is forgotten. In '06 they came in full of themselves, thinkin they'd dominate them FLA, and got beat down after Ginn was hurt. Last year, they only lost by 14, and if Robo doesn't drop that TD pass, they go up 24-10 and the game's completely different. What I'm trying to say is, all SEC lovers and haters like you are full of ****, and only hate because you wish your team was in the National Title the past 2 years.

Yeah ONLY 14. C'mon guys, they only needed THREE MORE SCORES to win that game!

And let's not forget that the last TD of there's game in junk time with just over a minute left and down by 21, when LSU had the game won already.


They may as well have lost by 50.

I'm pretty sure I'd rather see my team win two BCS Bowls in a row by huge margins, including a National Championship (I'm a Tigers fan, btw...) than watch them get embarrassed twice in a row in the Title Game and go home with nothing twice.
