Pick the NEXT team to move in the NBA
ONE team per arguement- and you cannot pick the same team as I (meaning If I take your pick oh well - so you need to have 5 total that you can argue)

(and don't cheese and Pick the Nets or the OKC team)

My Pick?

The Hornets

1. their owner is a peice of SH)T - He would move the team to Iceland if they gave him enough cash

2. They have been battered by storms and STILL have not recovered- and the cash avail by the SMALL corperate community

3. the TV market is SMALL- and the city is STILL owned by the Saints- and this team wasn;t a sellout BEFORE Katrina- so don;t give me that.

4. TYhe Hornets have NOT grown on the State- Northen LA is Still owned by the Mavs - and Baton Rouge cares more about the NCAA than the NBA

my pick is the grizzlies and heres why
1.there attendence stinks its less then the university
2. theres no reaso nfor them to stay they should move to a city that woudl support it like i dont know st louis.
3 the state is not a huge nba market with college b-ball dominating the stae.
4. the team has no stars besides rudy and i guess oj but theres just not a reason to keep it up.

Nice Pick

My next team would be the Kings

1. the Owners would back the team up NOW the second Stern allows them to go to Vegas

2. VEGAS!!!

3. California has what 70 teams? and Cowtown is going to stink for a LONG time unless Kobe Jr Falls to them at 13 in the draft.

4. When your best player is Brad Miller- OJ Mayo looks like LeBron James

i will say the bucks heres why but first also nice pick

1. they have a passion of fb and bb even though they have no nfl team they still like it better then bb
2. low attendence
3.except for redd no real stars to draw fans
4.i think they go to crap you stole vegas so i guess they could leave for chicogo they could get another nba team they have enough pop

2 Teams in Chicago?

interesting choice there- I don;t think Herb moves them

Per Wiki

Kohl is recognized as dedicated Wisconsinite and sports enthusiast.

In 1985 he bought the Bucks basketball team to ensure the team remained in Milwaukee.

Kohl also donated $25 million to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for construction of its new sports arena, which was named the Kohl Center. It was the largest single donation in University of Wisconsin System history

Herb moves that team and his political career is DONE in wisconsin - it would be like Ted Thompson running for the mayor of Brett Bay the day the Jetvres made the playoffs

I don;t think its STARS that keep the team- look at the Spurs from Gervin to Robinson- anyone there? Look at the post Jordan Bulls- they going anywhere? How about Minnesota? name me the SECOND biggest star there- Isiah Rider??

NO WAY the BUCKS move

My final team-

The Orlando Magic

-- the Owner is from Michigan - and is an Amway salesman - the team has already had to rebuild 3 times- and If Dwight howard leaves then the attendance will go back to Nil again.

my finial team is the ininia pacers heres why
1. not many fans
2. not great city to have it in
3. they dont have a strong fanbase
4. not a real team
now to go over yours. i agree with teh hornets but i dont konw about he kings not a great city but they have some fans and it really helps the tourism industry. as for orlando i dont thinks so they have a pretty strong fanbase. i have seen them play and a lot of people came. also dwight would get a huge paychek to stay

St. Louis? I don't see any way they could handle an NBA team. Small market, and they have one passion: the Cardinals.

Another easy one. The Nets are moving to Brooklyn end of story

the Bobcats? Hat to say it but it could happen if they don't start winning they've already spent the last few years trying to attract fans by picking great college players from within the state, same thing as BB was saying.

thats a pretty good idea jrich but where would they go. theres tons of nba teams that shoudl move but have no place to move to

September 1, 2008  06:25 PM ET

Bobcats would move to NO and the Hornets would move back to Charlotte. That sounds crazy and stupid but you never know with these two owners.

Cool topic, Dave. I'll wait for the final arguments but the picks were better to the left, in my opinion.

I feel for Walsh if they move the Pacers from Indy.

Whoo BOY!

September 1, 2008  07:54 PM ET

dwight would get a huge paychek to stay

-- You mean like Shaq??

Is baltimore brigade texting his arguments into a T-Mobile Side-kick III?
Are they ever going to fix that interface?

Nice aviator! Question mark man! Well i think New Orleans is gonna stay cause its a gold mind waiting to be dug up or should i say built up again.
