Chavis is the dumbest DC in all of football. He will have safetys blitzing and the OLB's picking Harvin up out of the backfield in Man. Simply speaking TN will play the exact Defense they played in the second half last year and gave up nearly 60 points. I like Florida to post 100 against the Volunteers.

Funny thing is that there is a book (Michigan, LSU, Auburn, OleMiss, KY) on how to stop the Florida offense. Chavis however will insist on blitzing Tebow. Playing Man, and generally chasing the misdirections all over the field while Harvin runs deep covered by a Defensive End.

On the other side the new offensive coordinator Dave Clawson demonstrated a complete inabiltiy to call plays. All UCLA could do was pressure right up the middle. TN averaged 9 YPC on the perimeter tosses so Clawson quit calling them, I guess b/c they worked too well. His new QB was off with his throws and getting pressured badly up the middle, and yet no attempt was made to get him out of the pocket.

Bottom line, Clawson appeared to have a greater need for someone to wipe the druel off his chin than he needed to be calling plays for TN.

For the sake of the Florida fans, Florida never backs off against TN. It is in Meyers contract that he must hold his foot to the floor against TN each and every game. TN is their Whipping boy and must remain so.

Therefor; Tebow will be throwing deep to Harvin, who is covered downfield by Robert Ayers with 30 seconds to go in the 4th.

I didnt list a score, simply that Florida will post 100. TN may have a lucky play for 7, maybe 2 for 14. No fieldgoals involved. They wont be able to get the ball out of the backfield on the ground, and if Crompton was shaky against an inferior UCLA defense they are screwed in SEC play.

Simply put the Meyer offense isnt that great against a decent coaching staff with talent. Chavis however; will have his defense chashing the ball and misdirections all over the field. Again; last year Harvin was being covered deep by a white linebacker.

After Florida scores their 100th point the Great Pumpkin will be patting the defensive players on the back as they come off the field. Does anyone else see the resemblence between the Great Pumpking and John Wayne GAcy?
