Ok, we got into this nice lil historical Discussion at work- about who is better than who.

and I was wondering who HERE could take the case for the OTHER SIDE

Case 1.

Troy Aikman or Roger Staubach

PICK ONE OR THE OTHER.

Pick First, argue second.

Troy Aikman

ok, I was in the Minority with Roger.

My Main point it this.

1:00 1 TO left in the Game- Down 4

You have the Line of the 2008 Minnesota Team
You have Marion Barber as your RB
You have Rod Smith, Steve Smith and Todd Heap as your WR/WR/TE

Who are you scared of?

You have a SOLID cast- but players that are not going to win on thier own without a QB

Are you REALLY worried that Troy is going to beat you?

I am Scared S****less about Roger.

Take the WEAPONS of Troy away (Top 3 RB all time, Top 20WR Top 25FB, Top 35 SpeedR,Top40TE Best O-Line of all time)

and are you that worried?

I'm not. if you put ANY HOF worthy QB in that Dallas O and you will win- can you imagine Steve Young or Elway under Center in Big D?

( someone in Dallas just wet themselves)

Yes Troy is a HOF QB- but with 5 seconds to find a HOF wideout- a LOT of QBs would be accurate as well.

dont have time today, will concede

I think Aikman also, will wait for arguments

September 3, 2008  04:39 PM ET

I think Staubach, but we'll see what happens.

September 3, 2008  04:40 PM ET

Two HOF QB's with multiple rings who had HOF RB's and a (should be) HOF receiver. Can't go wrong with either one of these guys.

Drew Bledsoe hands down....

"Drew Bledsoe hands down...."

Well, I would have gone with Quincy Carter but he didn't make Davids short list...

Tony Romo would get 60% of the vote from ESPN SportsNation as the greatest Quarterback in Cowboys history.

More like 80% for Romo

I seen the one they did on the Bills. Bruce Smith got less than 10% of the votes, Thurman had less than 5% and Billy Shaw got less than 1%

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'm guessing J.P Losman got around 75%?
