List first argue second.

1. Lakers

2. Clippers

3. Jazz

4. Blazers

5. Hornets

1. Houston
2. Seattle
3. lakers
4. Blazers
5. Mavs

Seattle??? do you mean OKC dosent matter thats a bad pick either way..

on the mavs....

1.Mavs have diop and dampier at the center position thats a horrible depth at the center position
2.Dirk is the best player and he is not even known for rebounding. Jason Kidd is the best rebounder at his position and he is getting older, stackhouse and howard are scoring not rebounding. Dallas Couldn't even out rebound the WARRIORS in the playoffs and there practicly the same team!!!!

No clippers!
1. Camby and kaman at the post they are 2 of the top 5 rebounders from last year!!! ADD the best rebounder (PG) besides dallas in BD and al thorton and Mobely thats a great rebounding lineup!!

No Jazz..
Boozer, okur, Millsap, AK47 are all top rebounders for there position and the 1 and 2 positions are not shabby either,,,,

No New Orlean tyson chandler, and David West beter than Kevin durant and nick collison.

ok.

in order

the Rockets LEAD the NBA in rebounding even AFTER missing so tall dude for 28 games- I never heard of the guy but he averaged 10.8 in the 55 games he DID play.

Will all the changes there- the BEST rebounder they lost averaged less than 3 per game (Bobby Jackson)

Seattle- same thing- second last year- best rebounder gone is Francisco Elson and his 3 boards a game
Add Joe Smith and his 5 RPG and you have a GAIN at that pos

the Lakers were 4th last year- and added Gasol for a full year- that and a Full year of Bynum (and they lost NOTHING from last year Ronny T?)

I have the Mavs 5th- Barely over the Clips- they were 15 Boards away from being 6th in the NBA LAST year

and added the best rebounding PG in NBA history that never played Center

added Diop and really didn;t lose much boarding wise

Now

The Jazz were TWENTY FOUTH in rebounding - and sorry unless one of those round 2 picks ends up being the Euro-Rodman -they are not getting much better

The Hornets were 16th- and yes they should be better- but Posey is not going to add THAT much.

Forfeited Turn

I guess I'll punt this round too

Thankfully the Bobcats won;t EVER miss this year!!

GO BOBCATS!!

Houston led the league in rebounding last year. They have to be at least top 5.

They only thing you had right on your Mavs part of the argument is that Dirk is their best player...

Rockets instead of Hornets.........

comparing 3 players on each team doesnt do it. You have to look at the team as a whole.

September 6, 2008  10:46 AM ET

Much better arguments right.
