Yeah, i knew somebody would say that. Bosh is ill but listen to Price's resume PLEASE fannation. ha... here it is...
Price won gold like Bosh in '94?...?
LOL hold on, this is an easy one
-Mark Price is the ALL-time leader in Free throw %!
-4-time all-star
-meant MORE to GT because he didn't leave after he was a FRESHMEN
-has an all nba 1st team selection which BOSH doesn't
-Price the all-time Assist leader in CAv's history
- Price has meant more to Cleveland than BOsh to Toronto so FAR
Price career playoff average 17 ppg with 7 assists.
Before Lebron there was MARK PRICE

I was doing this as the best pro player to play for GT
If you want the best player while at GT
You have to take Dennis Scott-1990 National Player of the Year
Looking at Bosh v. Price
First off Price won world championship gold-very different then Olympic gold
Price was a 4x all star in 13 years
Bosh is a 3x all star in 5 years
Yes Bosh only has a 2nd team all nba and Price has a first
but for their careers bosh has 19, 9, and 2 per game
Price has 15, 2, and 7 per
If you want to talk about playoffs-Bosh has 20ppg and 9rpg
Peach said 09/04, 04:46 PM
Price ranked top 10 in assists for 5 of his 9 seasons in Cleveland.
Price was named to the Cavaliers??? All-Time Starting Five by 32 members of the Northeast Ohio media during the Cavaliers 30th Anniversary season.
How can you say Chris Bosh is better?
Price has his jersey retired in the rafters.
Mark Price was a CONSISTENT SHOOTER.
He also was one of the top point guards in the league for awhile in Cleveland.
In Price's FRESHMAN YEAR at GT he averaged 20 ppg, 3,3,and 3.
Bosh's Freshman year......15.6 and 9 boards.
Bosh contributed 485 points to the Yellow Jackets while Price had 2.193.
MVP standings

1991-92 NBA 0.069 (7)
1992-93 NBA 0.010 (8)

Yeah, Bosh ONLY gave GT a year of illness.

Bosh still has a lot of years ahead of him to make himself one of GT's great ones. Price certainly had a good career. I will wait for the rest of the arguments though.

I don't know if we're considering NBA career or just college career or both. But if it's mainly for GT then the edge goes to Price.

Bosh is deffinatly not the choice there are several others I would put before him. However, when you say greatest are you saying the greatest NBA player to come from GaTech or the greatest while they were at GaTech? If while at tech I would say James Forrest if just a former Tech player in the NBA I would have to go with Price easily. Possibly even John Salley since he won a couple of rings with the Bad Boys and hosts the Best Damn Sports Show Period.

It says best player FROM GT not FOR GT. So I think NBA careers have to be looked at as the main thing here rather than GT careers.

Plus Peachy did concentrate on Price's NBA record, so all seems fair.

Tough to compare Mark Price and Chris Bosh, simply because Bosh's career isn't over.
But vote to Peachy on arguments.
