I will argue this as I have the rest of the NFL
1. No stealing my idea
2. No Pushing- pick a side first, no arg, you can put a record if you like.
3. If you don't LIKE the TD concept- then go start your own TDs and get the SMURF offa mine.
Will the W/L of the Texansa improve or Decline
My Pick DECLINE

So... I have them with 8 wins that I am confident about with 4 more win-able games (2 more so than the other 2). Even with a lose or 2 in the games I pick them to win, they still have a shot at a 9 win season.
A throwdowner named NCshvDavid said 09/04, 03:56 PM
So you have them Sweeping the Titans eh?
Pretty good turnaround since they got swept BY the Titans last year
SO I guess going from 0-2 to 2-0 in one year would make a W/L improvement.
I don;t see it
I tell you with that 24th ranked D, you sure do expect to win a lot of shootouts with the Lions and Bengals (and tigers oh my!)
Pretty good to sweep those two with that 25th rank vs the Pass.
Not to mention that First round pick was on the O-Line- and they really don;t have a RB either- Green has a TON of miles on him and you have no backup back of note.

It's Lions and Bengals and Bears oh my! You sound like the Scarecrow after his 5th go at the Morphine pump in the Oz Memorial Hospital burn ward.
I have them sweeping the Titans because they have a new (well, new-old) O-coordinator and VY has looked HORENDOUS in the pre-season and the rest of the O, with the exception of Crumpler, isn't much to look at either.
McCareins hasn't caught more than 50 passes since '04.
Gage has 6 TD's in 5 yrs.
White is a good runner but is no help out of the backfield (the rookie Johnson looks really solid though)
and the line gave up 30 sacks with a mobile QB.
Thus the sweep.
Yes I do expect to see shoot outs with the Lions and Bengals (but not the Bears). The Bengals only scored 1 more point last season on O and the Texans scored 33 more points than the Lions.
On D, the Lions gave up more points than any other team and the Bengals allowed one more point than they did (so actually they are even stevens.
I think Greene has one more 1,000 yard season in him and Taylor has a solid 4.4ypc avg.
A throwdowner named NCshvDavid said 09/04, 05:59 PM
I am glad to know that you think the preseason matters- does that mean are willing to bet the Pats and Colts won;t make the playoffs?
You honestly think the preseason means JACK?

All true LAST year when they went 2-0 vs them
and I know you go to school on a short bus taught by Jimmy the Greek
But +1 does not equal Even
you must have a gov't job . . . .
Green has cracked THREE HUNDRED YARDS ONCE in the past THREE years
So uh Good luck there.
Chris Taylor, right- the guy who played all of FOUR games
in 2006!
the one with a CAREER TOTAL of 128 Yards??
Man I have the 4th pick in tonights draft- think he will still be there??
boltsfan said 09/05, 09:25 AM
"You honestly think the preseason means JACK? "
No, not overall, but when your a starting QB and your completion % is lower that 32 future Walmart stock boys then I don't care if it's the Special Olympics training camp, YOU STINK!!
"All true LAST year when they went 2-0 vs them"
Game 1: Thanks to an NFL record 8 field goals they won by 2. Schaub got hurt in the 1st quarter so the Titans loaded up the box to for Sage Rosenfels to air it out, which he did to the tune of 290 yards and 4 TD's.
Game 2: Another first quarter injury to Schuab had the Titans playing against the backup QB again and it was still a 1 score (plus 2pt conversion) game.
"and I know you go to school on a short bus taught by Jimmy the Greek
But +1 does not equal Even"
Jimmy the Greek can drive?? They are even because the O scored 1more total point than the Texans did and the D ALLOWED 1 more total point.
So class... what is 1 - 1? Jimmy, quite eating the paste!
"Green has cracked THREE HUNDRED YARDS ONCE in the past THREE years"
True, but that once was for 1,059yds and 373 receiving. Behind Kubiaks zone blocking almost any back can break 1,000.
No, take Vick #4.

Indy is a ? because it is a home game and I want to see if
A) Manning is healthy
B) If Saturday is healthy by then
C) If Saturday is gone, if the offense will be as prolific (he calls as many audibles for the line as Payton does for the skills)
I also want to see if there D will maintain the level it played at last year (before they let a backup QB and RB come from behind to beat them in the playoffs)
If this is not the team we are used to seeing, the Texans have a shot at stealing a home game.

As far Green Bay I want to see if
A) Aaron Rodgers can play
B) Aaron Rodgers can play
C) Aaron Rodgers can play
D) Ryan Grant isn't a one year (and not even a full year) wonder.

The Texans beat up the Colts a year or two ago when they were in Houston...and that was during a losing season. The Texans CAN beat the Colts. Not saying it'll happen just that it's possible.

174 career receiving yards and no receiving TD's. You're right he's the next Marshal Faulk. What was I thinking?
