Week 1 Predictions

Goodell: Nov 4 is the day (576-363-56) vs Cassidy's House: Priceless (135-87-9)

WHOAAA!!! Jason Peters showed up at the Ralph and has officaly ended his hold out....

Now for the TD

Week 1 Predictions :

1) Lynch gets 120 yards and 2 TD's

2) Pats beat KC on last second FG

3) Devin Hester and Leodis Mckelvin each take one to the house

4) Romo throws 4 TD's vs Clevland

5) New Orleans D steps up finally

6) J. Stewart gets 75 yds and a TD

7) Jets beat Miami and Brett retires on top

8) Troy Smith will see time on Sunday

9) Frank Gore will be badly miss-used by Mike Martz

10) Pitt holds Houston to less than 60 yards rushing


The chances of ALL ten of your predictions to come true are slim because none left town.

1) You are a Bills fan and heavily motivated to see your RB mow thru the Seahawks D. I dont think it will be the party you have planned for him.

2) If the Pats need to beat KC on a last second FG then all the guys who set odds in Las Vegas are idiots as they have this game at a 16 point spread.

3) Two specific KRs taking it to the house in week 1 isnt likely for anyone to be able to predict. They may each take touchdowns to the house during this year, but both in week 1? C'mon Goodell, you made this as a joke, right?

4) Romo might throw for 4 TDs, but then again when they get in the redzone who is to say they get really close and let one of the RBs plow in to suck away Romo TD passes?

5) To predict the Saints D will step up is to have ignore most of 2007.

6) Not going to argue this one as its not a bold prediction.

7) Hilarious, but Brett is in for this season to try for playoffs.

8) Maybe, but who cares? Its a Ravens QB situation.

9) Probably true, but if J.T. O'Sullivan was my starting QB, I couldnt use Gore enough.

10) Finally a perfect prediction!


1) Starting DT Rocky Bernard is serving a one game suspension as well as they cut thier other starting DT from last season Marcus Tubbs. They are also starting thier #3 and #4 WR's in the 1 and 2 spot....... 120 and 2 TD's is do-able

2) So, you dont think that the Chiefs can make a game of it? Hell, go call Herm and tell him not to bother showing up

3) McKelvin has already taken one back in Pre-season....most experts say the bills have the best overall special team in the NFL. K, P, FG, Coverage, KR and PR

4) See Bengals vs Browns last season. Barber and Jones might get a TD run each on top of Romo's 4. Or, Jones and Barber might catch one out of the backfield

5) Thats why I said FINALLY.......

6) No point in wasting space

7) Brett couldnt retire the past 2 years cause he didnt win his last game. So this will be his last game

8) Im sure the everyone in the great Baltimore area cares

9) True, but Martz thinks every RB is Marshall Faulk....And thier NOT

10) Yeah.....Im pretty perfect


1) KC losing NE this week on a last second FG is "doable" too, right? Define doable? Something that is possible, but not likely? I dont think Lynch stampedes thru the Hawks regardless if its "doable" or not.

2) How many teams made a game of it against the Pats last year? The Chiefs dont have the offensive weapons to keep this game close. The Pats box out Larry Johnson & make Brody Croyle keep it close: he wont.

3) How many KRs take one to the house on a given weekend? To say a specific BILLS player will in week 1 is pie-in-the-sky homer hopeful.

4) The Bengals-Browns game last yr was a shootout because neither team specialized in the running game. The Boys have a damn good running game & could score rushing TDs easily, unlike the Bengals.

7) If you think Brett is going to retire on the Jets after winning their season opener for them, I will refer back to my opening statement: u are not taking this TD seriously.

8) Whether Troy Smith plays or doesnt, its still a high probability given Boller is hurt and Flacco is a rookie. Troy Smith playing is no bold prediction.

9) I think Martz can tell the difference between Gore and Faulk.

10) #1 D in Pitt. Easy prediction

Um.....

Well there is the Colts who only lost by 4

The AJ Feely led Eagles only lost by 4

The offensively INEPT Ravens only lost by 3

The Jets only lost by 10 and held the Pats to 20

They only beat the Giants in week 17 by 3

And in the AFC Title game, if LT, Gates and Rivers were 100%.....The outcome of the game would have been different

Now you can interpret that any way you want. McKelvin is on PR's as well as the nickle corner. So he could take any of those to the house. And as for Hester....He's playing WR now also, so he has many different ways "to take one to the house". He could take a KR, catch a pass, run a reverse......Many ways.

Who said anything about BOLD predictions??? I simply said he would see time this weekend. It might come on a injury to Flacco, not cause Flacco SUCKS


If u think the '08 KC are as good as any of the teams that were able to keep games close with the Pats last yr, apparently u have not reviewed the KC offensive depth chart very closely for this yr. Larry Johnson is a solid RB who will be shut down by the Pats. Whats left for the Chiefs to do, but try to force the ball downfield to Dwyane Bowe in an effort to catch up after falling behind? You think the Pats dont know this? The Chiefs are not as good as the Colts, Eagles, Ravens, Jets, Giants, or Chargers, all who were gunning to knock off the Pats to stop an undefeated season. The Chiefs wont have that inspiration going in week 1 of this season.

You said two SPECIFIC players would get touchdowns in week 1. If you dont think that is less than most likely "doable", then you are reaching for something that most likely will not manifest itself tomorrow.

Troy Smith is ahead of Flacco on the depth chart. Kyle Boller is out for the year:

Saying Smith will get playing time is like saying Ben Roethlisberger will get playing time this week for Steelers. Its automatic.

Check her friends list. She didnt need any fake accounts to kick butt on this site. She just needed to bring unbiased eyes to the table to offset the hate that you and yours tried to profligate against her.

I am acting as this profile's custodian for Cass in her absence and thus am running her group and her NASCAR picks as she tells me to do so. She says she doesnt want her group to fall into FanNation abyss like the Night Owls did.
