List 1rst, argue 2nd and 3rd

1. Saints
2. Bucs
3. Panthers
4. Falcons

Good Luck Philly

Good luck to you too...

1. Saints
2. Panthers
3. Bucs
4. Falcons

Ok, well we both agree that the Saints are first and Falcons are last.

The difference is 2 and 3, Bucs and Panthers.

The Bucs have a much better team than the Panthers. The Bucs have a better.

Lets compare the players at positions:

QB-
Jeff Garcia
Jake Delhomme
Adv- Garcia (TB)

RB-
Earnest Graham/ Warrick Dunn
DeAngelo Williams
Adv- Graham/Dunn (TB)

FB-
B.J. Askew
Brad Hoover
Adv-Hoover (CAR)

WR #1-
Joey Galloway
Steve Smith
Tie

WR #2-
Ike Hilliard
D.J. Hackett
Adv- Hilliard (TB)

TE-
Alex Smith
Jeff King
Could go either way

OL- Panthers (I guess)

DL- Panthers

LB- Bucs

CB- Bucs

SS-
Jermaine Phillips
Chris Harris
Adv- Harris (CAR)

FS-
Tanard Jackson
Charles Godfrey
Adv- Jackson (TB)

Well, with that, it means 6-4 TB in players.

The OL was a tossup, but I gave a slight advantage to the Panthers.

The Bucs have a much better offense than the Panthers. The defense also gives the Bucs the advantage too.

That is why the Bucs will finish higher than the Panthers

Thats all you got... no stats either?

Delhomme over the past few years has had some pretty solid seasons and has carried the Panthers on his back. Garcia is a journeyman QB who hasn't put up great numbers in years. Garcia is 38 years old this year and plays on an offense that isn't that good. I'll take Delhomme any day of the week over Garcia.

Graham has always been a career backup and finally got his chance last year, who knows if he will be as good this year. Dunn just plain sucked last year, a 3.2ypc average is pathetic. Williams AND rookie Jon Stewart benefit from a good OLINE and a dedication to the run. They are both young an are a perfect compliment to each other. I'll take the Panthers core again.

I don't see how Galloway and Smith are a tie. Steve Smith is one of the best and most exciting WR in the league. Galloway is 36 and is hit or miss each week. I don't think this one was even close, Smith in a run away.

Keep in mind that the Panthers are coming off a huge win against the San Diego Chargers, who many have picked to be Superbowl bound. The Panthers showed how tough they are. The Bucs on the other hand lost a tough game against the Saints.

I'll argue D next

Delhomme has only had a couple good seasons in the past 5 or so years becuase he has a been injured for the rest of them!! Garcia meanwhile has a very good year last year and will continue this year. Grahmn did good last year and can continue that this year and Dunn did bad last year becuase he played for one of the worst teams.........THE FALCONS!!!
Williams is a decent choice and never put faith in a rookie, especially at RB, they could either do great or just SUCK. WHo knows what he could do??
Smith and Galloway are even. Galloway can still play good at his age, there is no way Smith is a run away from Galloway, possibly a little better, but to me they are both good and realiable options as WR.

The Bucs did loose to the Saints and the Panthers did win, but I don't expect the Panthers success to continue.

Also, keep in mind the Panthers play the tough Bears team who beat the Colts!! While the Bucs play the Falcons, even though they did win this week, I would rather play them then the Bears.

That is why the Bucs will finish ahead of the Panthers!!

Thanks to FanNation undergoing the worst change I have ever seen I only have a few minutes to submit an argument so I will make this quick.

Reports are coming in that Garcia is going to be benched in favor of Griese, that will surely help their chances of beating an very impressive looking Panthers team. Delhomme on the other hand had a great game and has had some very impressive previous seasons.

Sure the Falcons were bad but Dunn's backup Jerious Norwood did ok. He averaged 6 yards per carry last year.

Smith and Galloway are not close to being even, sorry. Smith is one of the best receivers in the NFL, he is fast, strong, and extremely exciting to watch. He is without a doubt the best player on the Panthers.

You don't think the Panther can continue their winning ways? Why not? They have momentum after winning a thrilling game versus the Chargers, there is no reason to believe the Panthers won't get better, plus they get their best player back.

So what if they play the Bears thats ONE game, they play 16 for a reason.

The Panthers will finish second in the NFC South

BOOO!!!!

I think most of everyone will agree the Falcons will dwell in the cellar. But the other 3 teams' destiny is up in the air and by virtue of different opinions, will and shall interchange.

This should be good

Falcons have looked house in the season pre... not in that order of CoUrSe

September 6, 2008  10:54 PM ET

having the panthers 2nd is ridiculous...but hey maybe im wrong

September 6, 2008  11:11 PM ET

The NFC South is easy to predict the champion. Its ALWAYS the team that finished last the year before. I don't see the Falcons keeping it going but they did win more games last year than the Bucs won two years ago and they won it last year. If history is any indicator you can already ink in the Falcons.
