VOLS will win the mighty SEC

The SEC is the best conference in the nation proven.The VOLS will win the sec crown and probably national title with senior Ainge having another great year and a stable great RB's.Also an overlooked very aggressive defense


First of all, let me start off by saying that Ainge is probably one of the most talented quarterbacks in the nation, but also one of the most inconsistent. They have no stable RB's. The best one they have is LaMarcus Coker, and he is no better than just above average. Their defense isn't overlooked. This is the SEC, where the best defenses are. There's just no way that Tennessee will beat LSU out to win the SEC, especially with a very incosistent quarterback.

Tennessee isn't going to be better then LSU or probably Florida.

Plus, Ainge lost his number one target in Robert Meachem.

They won;t make it out of the SEC with less than 2 losses and with the weakness of the ACC and Pac-10 they will be lucky to get a BCS bid.

Vols will be good but the SEC has many good teams. Florida and LSU lead the pack but there are several that could make a run and win. It will be Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. It will be Auburn and LSU; with LSU about 20 points better.

I would look out for South Carolina. They play us the 2nd game and they will shock a few teams.

Kentucky and Vandy are even decent this year and will also shock a few teams. If you love college football; you gotta love the SEC!!!

I am a TRUE Vol fan, but even I worry about next season...

Kentuckyfan, Although I agree with most of your statements, to say that Ainge is inccnsistent just isn't true. As a freshman Ainge played awesome and that was when he was having to share time with Brent. Ainge struggled some as a softmore simply because Fulmer was still on a kick with swapping qb's with Clausen. Last year as a junior, Ainge was very good, having over a 65.0 passer rating and throwing for over 20 td's. Ainge will be extremely good next year even without Meachem. We snagged a 5 star recruit in Kenny, and have a bunch of speed demons. Plus ainge should always be able to dump it off to our stable of tight ends including the Cottam brothers who stand tall at 6'8". Ainge will exceed last years stats easy.
