Barry Bonds should not make it to the Hall of Fame. He cheated and used steroids to get his home runs and make himself eligible. Enough said.

This is about the millionth time this topic has come up. Even before he started using from 2000-2004, he was a hall of fame player. He is about to take over the lead for home runs, and he should make it into the hall of fame. Your just ignorant

No, he boosted his image the most from 05-now, and that is why people actually out him on the ballot. And even if he wasn't using back then, he did from 05 to recently, which was dishonest and should have tarnished his image enough to make him ineligible. Cheaters should not be allowed to uphold that kind of honor.

Well what happened in 2001, when he hit 73 home runs, you dont think he cheated then? Again, this isn't a Mark Mcguire type case, and there is no legit proof that he ever used steroids purposley

If you read game of shadows, then it says there is monumental evidence he was using 2 steroids. They interviewed over 200 people, all swearing he was using. Also, doctors noted that no one could build up that kind of muscle mass without using steroids. His trainer admitted to giving him steroids and was put in jail. His head grew a whole hat size and 2-3 shoe sizes. How could he not have used steroids? Cheaters don't belong in the Hall of Fame.

game of shadows is a biased book and that is why the authors were sentanced to two years in prison. He might of used steroids, but if there is no LEGIT proof that he used them he should be in, especially considering he is the all time leader in home runs.

exactly, if he was already a HOFer, why did he cheat? did he want small testicles?

July 24, 2007  04:27 PM ET

He cheated to get more HRs. He was already a HOF,er. And he still is as far as I concerned.

July 24, 2007  04:27 PM ET

Lots of evidence, no solid proof.

July 24, 2007  04:29 PM ET

are u for or against me, i cant tell

July 24, 2007  04:30 PM ET

I think he should be a HOF,er. At least as of now.

July 24, 2007  04:32 PM ET

he should definitely be in the HOF. I say you let em all in or keep em all out. And I think they will all be let in

July 24, 2007  04:36 PM ET

o good example, let cheaters in the HOF, good idea, that'll prevent more steroid users. you guys sound so stupid

July 24, 2007  04:37 PM ET

He was a 1st ballot lock for the hall of fame many years ago. He didn't need the HR record to get to the hall of fame.

July 24, 2007  04:39 PM ET

"Again, this isn't a Mark Mcguire type case, and there is no legit proof that he ever used steroids purposley"... seriously.

I know a rat when I see one. I don't need anyone to give me any scientific proof of it.

who's 'ignorant'?

FREE O.J.!!!

wait, O.J. is free, D'OH

I will never vote for anyone who uses the argument "Enough Said." I guess that George Brett doesn't belong in the Hall either. he cheated with pine tar. Come on. Steroids or not, Bonds is one of the greatest baseball players to ever live.

July 24, 2007  04:46 PM ET

u cant compare pine tar to steroids!

Cheating is cheating. Corked bats, vasoline, sandpaper, stealing signs, etc etc etc.

July 24, 2007  05:02 PM ET

o i forgot to say, good luck man, i do that for evryone

July 24, 2007  05:06 PM ET

I like how he happened to take almost a full year off last year because he was "tired" doesnt it take about a year for that stuff to clear out of your system?

July 24, 2007  05:09 PM ET

HE STILL TOOK IT BEFORE AND THAT IS MY POINT!

July 24, 2007  05:10 PM ET

if u think barroids should be in the HOF then usabtch

July 24, 2007  05:13 PM ET

Bonds is going to be a H.O.F- and Bud Selig should show some class and be there for his HR

July 24, 2007  05:16 PM ET

thats why i said "should", he will, but "should" not be
