QB - Peyton Manning
RB - LaDainian Tomlinson
FB - Lorenzo Neal
WR - Marvin Harrison
TE - Antonio Gates
T - Walter Jones
G - Alen Faneca (More consistent that Hutchinson.)
C - Jeff Saturday (As much as I want to put Olin Kreutz here.)

NG - Jamal Williams
DT - Tommie Harris
DE - Jason Taylor (Tempted to put Peppers here, but Taylor puts up better numbers in a less talented front seven.)
MLB - Brian Urlacher
OLB - Shawne Merriman
CB - Champ Bailey
S - Ed Reed (Big hitter like Roy Williams, coverage like Adrian Wilson.)

P - Brian Moorman
K - Aam Vinatieri

Ight man good team, here is mine.
QB- Manning
RB- Tomlinson
FB- Mack Strong
WR- Chad Johnson
TE- Gates
T- Jonathan Ogden
G- Steve Hutchinson
C- Olin Kruetz

NG- Kris Jenkins
DT- Marcus Stroud
DE- Dwight Freeney
MLB- Jonathan Vilma
OLB- Adalius Thomas
CB- Bailey
S- Bob Sanders

P- Shane Lechler
K- Josh Brown

I don't agree with Jenkins as the best NG, he has games where he just disappears.

Freeney when healthy is a good pick, but Taylor gets more tackles and is better against the run.

Vilma isn't in the same league as Urlacher. Urlacher is so much more versatile and better at coverage. I like Vilma, but he's not the best.

Adalius Thomas could be the best OLB, but we'll see how he does when he's out of the Ravens amazing defensive system.

I love Bob sanders, but he's a notch below Ed Reed.

Josh Brown is solid, but I'd still rate Vinatieri and Robbie Gould above him.

Well both of you are wrong on the punter Mat McBriar is better than any punter in the league. At safety give me Polamalu. And the biggest guy you all are overlooking in my opinion is Steve Smith. If we are talking current level of play I would take Smith over any other receiver he makes such an impact and plays with a far inferior QB than either Johnson or Harrison.

Point to Bauer I love the Tommie Harris pick.

September 6, 2007  02:52 AM ET

no peppers, no point

September 6, 2007  06:50 AM ET

Gotta give the point to Bauer.....you nailed the defense, I would disagree with Marvin Harrison as the top receiver though.

September 6, 2007  07:14 AM ET

you got moorman so im voting for you.

September 6, 2007  07:47 AM ET

Vote to Bauer. I agree with almost every single pick of his.

September 6, 2007  07:52 AM ET

Vote to Bengi Bauer

September 6, 2007  09:04 AM ET

freeney over peppers??????? and taylor??????? peppers is better than freeney cause freeney can only pass rush peppers and taylor do it all INT stop the runner....and chad johnson and marvin over steve smith???they have much more talented WRs and QBs throwing to them

September 6, 2007  09:49 AM ET

Dwight Freeney is weak. He is garbage at stoping the run and rarely gets to the QB anymore

September 6, 2007  10:13 AM ET

PUNTER MATT MCBRIAR!!!

September 6, 2007  10:32 AM ET

QB, RB, TE and Kicker are the gimmes. All the rest can be debated a dozen different ways and all of them have points. Bauer got all four of the easy picks right while nygiants misfired on the kicker. There is no guy any sensible coach would rather have take that "big" field goal attempt that Vinatieri, point to Bauer.

September 6, 2007  11:25 AM ET

Kicker, Mason Crosby, new kicker for the Green Bay Packers. At least I hope so. Great talent, and a really great guy.

Oops.

September 6, 2007  01:01 PM ET

lol.....jonathan vilma???????lol hahahahahaha

September 6, 2007  01:01 PM ET

I dont agree with all of Benjis picks but i had to give him my vote once i saw nygiants put down Vilma! hahaha. Wow.

September 6, 2007  01:47 PM ET

I think Bob sanders is under rated because of the team tht he plays on. But he stuffs the run better than any saftey in the game just ask Cedrick Benson. He can also play the pass as well as an saftey and on top of all that he will lay you out if come across his middle

September 6, 2007  02:43 PM ET

There aren't too many picks that I agreed with that other guy on.

September 6, 2007  04:51 PM ET

VILMA!!!! Are you SERIOUS!!!!!

September 10, 2007  08:10 PM ET

I'm just gonna forfeit this... don't really mind my record and this guy won't come back.
