THE ROCKIES SHOULD WIN OVER THE INDIANS

First off, I wouldnt count out the Red Sox out until they are officially out of the playoffs. The problem i see in the Rockies is first off, they have a long break. As seen in last years playoffs, the Tigers were also on a roll and were the clear-cut favorites over the Cards. But, they lost in the WS in five games. The Rockies still have another week until the series starts, so no one knows how that will effect their momentum.

Second off, if the Indians to go to the world series, they have a very good pitching staff. Dont get me wrong, the Rockies have done well, but I dont see Josh Fogg as a solid option. The Rockies have had a good bullpen, but so do the Indians. The Rafaels have been just as dominant if not more.

the Rockies bats are too hot and I don't them cooling off too soon, plus the momentum is on their side and they will be rested

Regarldess that your sentence doesn???t make sense, I will argue your point. Momentum has become questionable. Im not going to question their momentum while they were playing, that was incredible. But how are they going to fare after an eight day rest? The only team ever to wait six days between the CS and WS nearly got swept, while losing in 5 games. How did they play during those 5 games, 8 errors. Only a third of their lineup hit over 300, while the rest of the team hit under .200, and averaged nearly 8 strikeouts per game. My point is that the team wasn???t the same before the break after the break. And infact, they got worse. Im stating that there is a good chance the team might get rusty after a break over a week long, and longer than the break the 2006 Tigers took. Also your argument is still slightly off in that the Red Sox are not out, still.

Rockies lost but,awc is a smarta@@!!!!!!!!!!!Grow up,I unlike you don't sit on the computer all day

grow up? i dont sit infront of the computer all day either. i go to a laptop based school so in some classes i do have a computer infront of me, but i actaully play football and baseball for my school, along with other club sports. so calling me lazy isnt really accurate either.

i go with awc easily here becuz you cant count the sox out even if they were down 3-0, not 3-1. remember that year uhmm..oh yeah 2004!

October 18, 2007  09:58 PM ET

awc, top 10 pitcher in baseball. Lets TD.

October 18, 2007  10:04 PM ET

OK...since the break, the Rockies have the 3rd best ERA in baseball...Indians are 1st, Boston is 5th...

They'll be ready...

Also, it's not like the Rockies don't have bats themselves...tied with Boston for the 3rd most runs scored in the 2nd half...

October 18, 2007  10:05 PM ET

...and of, course, the Rockies have the best team D in baseball history...and it's really helped them this postseason....

October 18, 2007  10:05 PM ET

i only accept TDs, i dont make them anymore. If you come out with something i disagree with, id be more than happy to throwdown with you.

October 18, 2007  10:07 PM ET

too early to call out boston. look at their 04 run agianst the yanks.

October 18, 2007  10:07 PM ET

and awv has the better arguement

October 18, 2007  10:09 PM ET

too early to call out boston. look at their 04 run agianst the yanks.

That's happened once in history...not saying it can't happen again, but it's very unlikely...

October 18, 2007  10:12 PM ET

well, theyre winning right now in the 5th inning. im just saying its not a for sure deal that they are out of the playoffs. the redsox are a good team thats certainly capable of coming back. thats all im saying

October 18, 2007  11:10 PM ET

October 18, 2007  11:28 PM ET

October 18, 2007  11:42 PM ET
