Michael Kay is a Fraud.

Kay is the play by play man for the Yankees on the YES Network. He also does a radio show on ESPN 1050 in New York.

On his radio show, Kay used his show to blast anyone on certain topics especially the Yankees. But on YES, Kay said basically nothing.

Part of the reason is because the YES Network would tell Kay to said postives things on the Yankees not negative things. And also he basically saids one thing on radio and another on TV.

Kay needs to realize that he has to choose between doing the Yankees on YES or doing his radio show one of these days. Otherwise this will continue, and people will be turn off by him.

I have a job too where I don't agree with everything my boss says. But I'm not so stupid to say it out loud at work. But when I go someplace else, I'm free to say what I want.

Kay loses either way. He is between a rock and a hard place. At some point Kay has to choose. He can't do both jobs.

Oh hi! Welcome back. Did you enjoy the massage? And yes, he can do both jobs. If he couldn't, then he wouldn't be. The problem is that you are listening to him from both of his jobs. If you'd stop listening to his YES job, and only listen to him on ESPN, you'd never know there was a problem.

Kay seems restricted from criticizing the Yankees on YES. Yet on his radio show, he criticizes the Yankees when he has the chance. It's almost like Kay is 2 different people. I have nothing against Kay stating his opinion, but he nevers says the same things on radio and TV. He seems to like ESPN. Maybe Kay should join ESPN. Then again Kay would had to give up all the thing he does on YES including doing Yankees games.

Of course he's restricted from criticizing the Yankees when he's broadcasting on the Yankees network and being paid by the Yankees. Just as you are restricted from criticizing your boss when you're at work. Its just common sense.

Agree with John. Kay is limited by what he can say on YES but not on ESPN. He is hired to be a Homer on Yes but for ESPN he is paid for his honest opinions.

he is a homer on espn also... he may blast them now, but listen in mid-season when they are doing well... he spends half the show talking about them

I'll tell ya what Kay is, an extremely bland commentator. Not terrible, but bland.

No way a broadcaster should be restricted from criticizing the team he works for. Harry Carey is a great example of both sides of this coin. When he was teamed with Jimmy Piersall doing White Sox games he would regularly rip the team on air for bad play. When he went to the Cubs, every play the team made was "one of the best I've ever seen" and every error was a "tough luck bad hop". Fans aren't morons, we don't need a homer call on every play.

Samji says please be careful your boss maybe watching you even in your quietest moments of peace with your worship temple. Samji was once petting monkey at zoo when boss appeared with his children of beastmaster wife who had horns and nappy hair. Monkey freaked out and spewed on boss wife and then beastmaster exploded on boss. Not a pretty sight for a sunny day at zoo.
