The Patriots have dominated teams in record numbers.

They have score points in record numbers that no offense in NFL history has every done.

The only game that the Patriots didn't score a bunch of points is against the Colts. They were down 20-10 with under 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, and came back to score 2 touchdowns to win 24-20.

Having say that, the Partiots season will be a failure if they don't win the Super Bowl.

The Patriots have a great chance to go 16-0. But if they don't win the Super Bowl, everybody will not remember the Patriots going 16-0, they are going to remember then losing in the playoffs. Plus the Patriots will have a lot of pressure on them in the playoffs because if they go 16--0, then they can't lose and fall on their faces.

It will be better for the Patriots to lose a game in the regular season than in the playoffs because if they go undefeated and lose in the playoffs, then everything they done is wasted.

So while the Patriots have dominated everybody, they better win the Super Bowl. Otherwise their effort will be wasted.

I am going to disagree on this one. I am a pats fan and i would be dissapointed if they did not win tghe superbowl but i definitly wouldn't think the season is a failure. As you said they have broken many records and still more to come. Also if they go undefeated that is definitly not a failure.

If the Patriots go undefeated and lose in the playoffs, then their season is a failure. People will remember the Patriots going 16-0. But everybody will also remember then not winning the Super Bowl if they don't go 19-0. There's talk that the 2007 Patriots might be the greatest team in NFL history. But let's not crown them yet. Let the Patriots go undefeated and win the Super Bowl first.

Interesting, but I wonder if Belly check keeps running up the score, and someone takes out Brady for the year, will the Pats season be a loss? Will Bill lose his job? Will there be an asterisk by the Superbowl Champs name, because they probably already lost to the pats?

If I was Brady, I would start lobbying Belichek to take him out, before some crazed linebacker does it for him.

Most likely will be the biggest choke ever by a team.

The Patriots will not make it to the Super Bowl.

Every season is a failure for the 31 teams that don'w win the super bowl. To think otherwise is just excuse making by fans and players.
