Tim Tebow is a great quaterback. He is an above par passer and a great scrambler, as well as out of pocket qb. But Florida is crazy to let him run like he does. He is not a fullback. He is a HUGE part of Florida's offense and has had 2 injurys thanks to running. Lucky for him it was on his none throwing side. But next year if he keeps up like he is i believe he is destined to get hurt. Worst case senerio some one goes after him. But never the less all my florida friends have bought into this tebow = superman thing

I don't think its Tebows fault that he has to scamble all the time, it can mostly be the play calling for Meyer or he doesn't see anyone open down field and just takes off cause we all know he can take a hit and get the first down when needed. Florida still doesn't have a RB that has stepped up for them since Meyer took over.
I would like to see Tebow stay healthy but if his legs are helping his team win, let him do what he has done the past 2 seasons (one of which a NC).

Good point on it not being his fault, but he could just as easily run around some one or even qb slide. The point is that he can not keep plowing into people and expext not to get hurt. Sure he can take a hit, he is the strongest guy on Florida's roster. In my opinion, Florida without Tim Tebow, would be like the Pats with Tom Brady. Tebow is dual threat, he keeps defenses on their toes, allowing the offense to be so good. As far as RB's are concered you have to look at the factthat Harvin splits carries with Tebow, and Woods for a while. Harvin iis an explosive back with lots of potential

What gets the crowd more going Tebow sliding before the first down marker or plowing through a group of guys and destroying all the defenses hopes of stopping him.
For the RBs, they have Spring/Summer practices to show their skills to Meyer, why they can't take the load off Tebow is up to them.
Hopefully they can change Tebow into a throw first QB, run 2nd, but I doubt that at all and he'll be doing what he's been doing and keeping the swamp energized.

Let recognize that the Swamp was one of the toughest places to play prior Tebow. So that has no point to the argument. Florida fans are known to be rude and crude and i would know because i live with one and am surrounded by them. Second, lets also recognize that no one is unstopable. What do you think the Swamp would like more, possibly a national title next year, or see their dreams blown a way by a late hit or lets say shoulder injury or a broken left hand. He already broke his left.

He already broke his left???? I worked with a ton of Florida fans and I dont know where you get the crude or rude (find Gruden on fannation, he is a florida fan and I work with him).
Your right, The Swamp is a difficult place to play but what I was trying to get at is that the fans their probably get more pumped when they see Tebow smacking the defense around.
Yes it would suck for Tebow to get hurt but that is also a part of football...also maybe after this latest injury, he will finally start taking slides...we will have to wait and see.

You need to have a quarterback like Tebow's type in order to run the spread-shotgun-option offense

FYI i corrected my self in the comments, he broke his right hand. Anyway the whole point is that Tebow needs to not play so recklessly. Vince Young in his college days was very effective, and he *did not* play stupid
