*Will continue arguement with statistics below*

1. NE Patriots
2. Dallas Cowboys
3. Indianapolis Colts
4. GB Packers
5. Jacksonville Jaguars

I must say packers are better than the colts. Packers have a much better offense right now then the colts. The packers are ranked both second in total offense and passing (YPG).Though the colts may be ranked high on their defense, the packers defense is still better when against a running play. Now as of both of out 5th ranked teams. You put the Jaguars and I put the steelers. The steelers are much better. Their defense dominates. They are ranked 1st in both in total defense and passing (YPG). They are ranked 2nd in Rushing (YPG) for defense. And even still Pittsburgh's offense is ranked higher than the Jaguars.

Yes the steelers may have a great offense but losing to the Cardinals, Jets and Broncos doesn't help your cause of a top 5 team...I think it looks a lot better when you lose to the Titans, Colts and Saints.

First off losing to those teams doesn't make too much of a diference about a top 5 team. I mean look at the broncos, they beat the steelers and they are a good team right now (sort of) and they could go to the playoffs if they get past the chargers who aren't far away. PLUS 2 of the games the steelers loss were only by 3 points and their loss to the cardinals was only by a touchdown + the fg. Anyway I see the Jaguars no where being a top 5 team espeacialy based on stats. Wouldn't you also consider a top 5 team to be first in their division. The jaguars are only second in theirs, and the steelers are in first in theirs.

Hold on, I thought a win was a win, doesn't matter by how much you beat them, or how sloppy you did it (look up the stats for this past weekends game of the Bucs/Redskins). In the end, they got the win and no one to blame but yourself in the end (or the refs). What Broncos team have you been watching this year??? They lose to the Jaguars but beat the Steelers, how does that fit into your power rankings (per say)?? Then they always get blown out by the Colts the next week, then get blown out by the Chargers at home. I live in CO and talk about them everyday, they are no were near good team status.

After 12 weeks of football I've seen these Jaguars beat 2 division leaders (Bucs and Chargers), while the Steelers only beat up their division rivals and some sub par teams from the NFC West and AFC East). At the end of the day a win is a win but Jacksonville has gone against better quality teams and they will finish on top at the end of the day.

Statistically i would put the Steelers ahead of the Jagz in my power rankings, and you basically can't go wrong with whoever you put at #5, but just look at their games and how they play against their opponent. The Jagz have always been known to play down to their competition and in a couple of games this year the Steelers have been doing just that.

The Jagz are looking like a totally different team with Garrard back. The defense has been playing better with him under center because of his ability to convert on third downs (before his injury against the colts, the defense ranked in the top 5) allowing the defense to rest and controlling time of possession in recent weeks.

The Steelers on the other hand, has trouble protecting Big Ben for some odd reason. They may be exposed but i do expect them to adjust to give him a much better pocket to throw from. Their defense is impenetrable even with T.P out and their run game has been impressive. And when Big Ben has time to throw the ball, they are dangerous.

Both of these teams are well rounded on both sides of the ball, but i can't get the fact that even though the Steelers are statistically very good, they loose to the Jets, Cards, and Broncos. I understand about the Monday night game against the Dolphins because i don't think any team can look good under those conditions.

And in the Jagz loses they looked like pathetic and unlucky. The lose against the Titans was just devastating because of the injury to Josh Scobee. Then against the Colts, we had no chance after Garrard was hurt. Now i'm not gonna talk about the Saints game because we were plain out outplayed and exposed defensively

Jags over Steelers? Puh-leeze. Sorry I was late to this to invite Steeler Nation over to right this disgrace of an outcome.

Steelers over Jags? Puh-leeze. Sorry, the Steelers have not played that many good, hell even decent teams. The have played a bunch of low life teams this year. Oh yeah, they got beat by one of them. The Jets. The Steelers will cave to the Jags just like they have done the past 2 seasons.
