I know there have been a lot of these throwdowns, but I haven't done a throwdown yet so I decided to start one.
1. Tim Tebow
2. Darren McFadden
3. Chase Daniel
4. Colt Brennan
5. Pat White

The only reason I put Brennan over Daniel is because they went undefeated so far. Yes, Mizzou was very good this year but those two loses to Stoops hurt the heisman hopes for Daniel.

Okay, so we are only arguing about Daniel and Brennan then. I put Daniel over Brennan because, as everyone on Fannation has pointed out, Hawaii did not face much competition this season. Missouri did not have the toughest schedule, but it was more difficult than the Warrior's.
Also, Brennan may just be excelling because of the competition and the system he is in. His backup even managed to throw for over 1,000 yards this season. Brennan's best game was against Northern Colorado, who isn't a very good team. Daniel's best games were against Kansas, Colorado, and Nebraska. Colorado and Nebraska aren't very good, but that was a key game against Kansas and Daniel came through for his team.

Brennan's stats speak for his self and records.
'Ey Capernicus said 12/02, 09:28 PM
Most of Brennan's record were broken last season and the stats aren't much different with Brennan throwing for only four more yards, 5 more touchdowns, and 4 more interceptions than Daniel. Brennan's stats are lower than they were last season, too. Also, Brennan has a huge number of attempts. Daniel does too, but there is barely a difference in completion perentage even though Hawaii has better receivers and the defenses faced by Daniel were better than the ones faced by the Warriors.

Dude, like I said earlier Daniel lost twice. Yes, Oklahoma is an awesome team but Hawaii is undefeated. The schedules are far apart in strength but this goes to the best player fit and that's a guy on an undefeated team regardless of the conference. Ty Detmer BYU ring a bell?

Report Offensive CommentTim Tebow (Florida) vs. Dan LeFevour (Central Michigan)
Tebow - 55 total TD's
LeFevour - 41 total TD's
Tebow - 194 rushes 838 Yards 4.3 yards per carry
LeFevour - 155 rushes 1008 yards 6.2 yards per carry
Tebow - 3132 passing yards
LeFevour - 3175 passing yards
Tebows has a few more TD's with a much better offensive line and much better offensive weapons than LeFevour. LeFevour is much more efficient with the ball in his hards and is more of a threat than Tebow. Tebow was the first 20 rushing 20 passing TD's in FBS history but LeFevour fell only 3 rushing TD's shy of that mark, making Tebows feat not that great. LeFevour also is only the second person in FSB history with 3000 passing yards and 1000 rushing yards (Vince Young).
Tebow is a product of a overhyped team in a overhyped conference and does not deserve the Heisman.

Report Offensive CommentLO603,
You say LeFevour has done more with less talented players but Tebow plays against MUCH better defenses than LeFevour. LeFevour plays in the MAC and they just won the conference title so obviously they have more talent then all the other teams in the MAC. Tebow has put up these numbers against SEC defenses. Let LeFevour play in the SEC and see if he puts up the same numbers. There is a reason Tebow was one of the most highly recruited players in the country out of highschool and LeFevour couldnt even get recruited by Purdue which he attended all of their football camps.
