Curt Schilling always has something to say.

But Schilling sometimes can drive you crazy.

The latest thing Schillig has said was that if Roger Clemens is found guity of taking steriods, that Clemens shouls forfeit his 4 Cy Young Awards after the 1998 season.

This is the same Schilling who said in Sports Illustrated when he was with the Arizona Diamondbacks that he couldn't pat one of his teammates on the **** beacuse he feels that player took steriods. And then in front of Congress in 2005, Schilling back tracked what he said in SI and told them to disreguard his comments.

Schilling has lost a lot creditable in my opinion because of what he said to Congress.

As for Clemens, there's no way they will take away his Cy Young Awards. One reason is the guys that finish in back of Clemens might have taking steriods.

So bottom line is Curt Schilling needs to shut up.

I don't like Curt Schilling. I consider him a loud mouth who butts in everything too. But you have to remember the guy has the right to voice his thoughts. And he isn't afraid to share his opinions either. Schilling didn't say that WILL happen with Clemens, he said they SHOULD take away his rewards if that does occur. So is Schilling extremely annoying sometimes? Hell yes. But he has his own voice and he expresses them. And it's obvious that people care about his thoughts.

While Schilling express his own opinion just about every single time, what he said sometimes can drive you crazy. He needs to watch what he saids, otherwise its going to come back to hault him.

Well...he's never been in involved with any steriod rumors of any sort so I don't know what you mean by it's going to come back to haunt them. The thing is he either gets asked about things or says them himself. And he gives his honest opinion. I guess this TD is all based on opinion. So it's kinda pointless. Add the fact that alot of people care about what he says. It's not like he's a back-up infielder for the Pirates. He's a big name. So people will listen to him. And he's earned that. Obvously so do you by making this TD.

What he said to Congress in 2005 has to annoy everybody. He basically back tracked what he said in SI and told then to disreguard what he said to Congress. To me he lost all creditable to speck about Steriods. Who knows, maybe Schilling is on steriods as well. So bottom line is Schilling needs to shut up for once.

Well...I don't think he is. The guy has never been linked to anybody and was never in any reports. Never failed any drug tests either. I think if he was on steroids, he would be more standoffish when asked about steroids. Curt is not a boring athlete who will say whatever is safe. He voices his feelings. And while I'm not crazy about him or the team he plays for, I respect that. About the 2005 Congress thing, don't know the whole story on that. Either way, he'll keep talking and everyone will keep listening.

Of course Schilling has the right to speak, same as we have the right to say he should shut up. I hate how these arguments are basically just semantics.

He doesnt need to shut up. I believe what he wrote was on his own personal blogspot: 38Pitches.com.

If you dont agree, dont read it.

And you arent getting a vote either Cole; not liking Curt Schilling for that simple reason(you've never expressed another to me) is pathetic.

He's right. Clem should give back the awards. Marion Jones had to give hers back. This is a good year for the anti-roid movement. All these athletes are being held accountable.

U can't defend this guy... He is a moron. He needs to shut up. And worst of all... He still supports George "Duh duh duh duh" W. Bush!

December 21, 2007  10:11 PM ET

He's a moron?

Hm...might be a mix-up in that one...

December 21, 2007  10:35 PM ET

He might be a moron about 99% of other things, but if he's right about 1%, this is it.

Of Course a New Yorker would support this guy. If he is clean why hide behind the briefcase of his atty. Volunteer for a lie detector test. Funny the guy that named him also named petite which admitted his use. So the source seems to know what he is saying. Not to mention he went from a struggling Toronto pitcher to a dominating one exactly when the allegation says he started to use. Hmmm.

Heck steroids are only detectable for so long which makes these late starts in the season so convienent.

If he used he should forfeit them.

Schilling told Congress to disreguard what he said in SI. Which means he lost a lot of creditable in my opinion.
