Miami Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga made a suggestion that the NFL should do a rotation of sites for the Super Bowl.

So I have pick 5 cities that will be part of the rotaion should that happen.

Miami, Florida
Tampa, Flordia
New Orleans, Louisiana (As long as they can support the Saints and makes some upgrades on the Superdome or get a new stadium)
San Diego, California ( If they can get a new stadium)
Glendale, Arizona

Miami (Weather)
Lambeau (amazing history and nice crisp football air)
Arizona (Amazing luxury)
Reliant stadium Houston (retractable dome. pending the weather)
Raymond Jones Stadium (Great football atmosphere)

- in all tho im against the constant rotation. It would be better if every NFL city had a chance to host the biggest event of the year.. besides.. i don't think that 5 city's will have enough money to host the Super Bowl once every 5 years..

The NFL will never play a Super Bowl at Lambeau Field beacuse the weather in February is cold, windy and snowy. Plus its outside.

The NFL likes warm weather sites like Miami, Tampa, San Diego, etc. and sites with dome or retractable roof stadiums.

So sties like Lambeau Field would never host a Super Bowl.

Never is a big word.. Lambeau is easly the most historic field in the nfl right now..
i chose lambeau because i think it would be a-lot of fun.. and a-lot of people would go to the game.

I agree with you about Arizona and Miami, but if San-Diego gets a new stadium (big if) it wont be built for a couple years .. and i dont think the nfl will wait a couple of years to solidify there places of interest.

And i think the super dome is going to stay for a long time.. and i don't think the saints will be from New Orleans in the future

The NFL should give New Orleans a Super Bowl because it will give the city a huge lifted reguardless if the Saints stay or not.

Also Los Angeles/Pasadena should get a Super Bowl reguardless if there is a team or not.

And while Lambeau Field is a historic stadium, its a outdoor stadium with no roof. And Green Bay is too small a market to host a Super Bowl.

My main argument is its a stupid idea, and the city's don't have enough money, and every team deserves a chance to host a super bowl!

"And while Lambeau Field is a historic stadium, its a outdoor stadium with no roof. And Green Bay is too small a market to host a Super Bowl"

THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER.. GREEN BAY IS ONE OF THE MOST LOYAL FAN BASE AND SELLS OUT EVERYGAME!!! IF YOU THINK GREEN BAY IS A "SMALL MARKET" YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL"
-no im not a cheese head

are we supposed to pick new sites? or argue that these 5 should be in the rotation? or that there shouldn't be a rotation between the citys? or that the rotation is a bad idea..??? or pick 5 sites that i think would be better for the rotation?

Throw out a different list of cities, argue against it - it looks like its your choice kid.

Super Bowl should be in Lambeau. That would be awesome.

December 30, 2007  11:21 AM ET

so awesome that it would never ever happen not just saying that from bears point of view

December 30, 2007  11:26 AM ET

it's will never happen becuase no one wants to voluntarily play a game in Lambeau Field in January/February. bad weather tends to mean sloppy football and no one wants to see the biggest game of the year decided by sloppy weather.

December 30, 2007  11:29 AM ET

I still think it should be a rotation of the newest stadiums. say all built withing so many years. I hate the lobbying that goes on for them. It's basically leagalized Bribary.

December 30, 2007  11:40 AM ET

i dont think its far to only rotate with the Warmer states..

December 30, 2007  11:50 AM ET

and i don't think it's fair to have teams play the most important football game of the year in god awful conditions and make the fans be miserable sitting in said conditions watching said teams play bad football because of said conditions.

yes, that was a run on. no, i don't care.

December 30, 2007  11:52 AM ET

They should play the Super Bowl in some cold weather.

December 30, 2007  11:53 AM ET

i know.. mix things up

December 30, 2007  12:00 PM ET

so you guys like watching sloppy football? cool.

December 30, 2007  12:01 PM ET

I think they should put all stadiums in those little cage thingys that spin and choose one of draft day. Which ever one is chosen, thats the Super Bowl site.

It will give each city's fans to see a SB and gets revenue for cold weather cities.

December 30, 2007  12:05 PM ET

i'd love to see a Super Bowl at Giants Stadium but until it has a retractable roof, it' not gonna happen. the only way a cold weather stadium is going to get a Super Bowl is if it has a dome, a la Detroit.

December 30, 2007  12:26 PM ET

"so you guys like watching sloppy football? cool."

We like watching real football. Football in December and January is played in bad weather conditions, why should the Super Bowl always be in a sterilized site?

December 30, 2007  12:30 PM ET

You will never play a Super Bowl at Lambeau because who the F*** wants to go to Green Bay

December 30, 2007  12:32 PM ET

because in good weather, chances are clean football will be played. i'd rather have the most important game of the year decided more by the play on the field than the weather.

as much as i loved watching the Steelers struggle agains the Dolphins, was that game an indication of how good or bad either team was? not really. let's put them on a legit playing surface with good weather and see how they do.

Its Raymond James Stadium not jones

December 30, 2007  01:14 PM ET

You bet that Dallas would have one of the sites with the new Mega-Stadium that Jerry is building plus the amount of hotels that are close to the New Stadium. Weather and Retractable Roof. Sure beats New Orleans and that broke down stadium and Lambeau in Feb.
Plus it will never happen anyways to many owners would raise a stink!
