Filling a void created by the departure of guard Ramar Smith, Junior college All America Bobby Maze has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Tennessee, the school announced Thursday. Maze, a 6-2, 185-pound point guard, played last season at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, where he led the team with 20.7 points, 6.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game as a sophomore. Maze began his career at Oklahoma where he played in 22 games, starting five of them, during the 2006-07 season. He visited Cincinnati last weekend and was set to visit Kentucky but decided UT was a perfect fit, according to the Associated Press.
