Sven demands answers on future

Manchester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson has demanded clarity on his future after today's final league game at Middlesbrough. With the Swede's position at Eastlands looking increasingly unsteady, he wants the terms of his immediate future laid clear by club owner Thaksin Shinawatra. City's results have dipped significantly but they are still on course for a top half finish with their highest ever Premier League points tally - targets that Shinawatra were content with as recently as March, according to Eriksson.

I think they are foolish to let him go so soon. Their expectations may have been a little unrealistic.

Report Offensive CommentShinawatra is a complete fool. Erikson brought a sub-par team further along than they've been in years. They even played well against United for the first time in recent memory.
He should ask for answers and just walk.

Report Offensive CommentAfter 8-1 it looks like he is gone. Sven should go to Benfica. Thaskin is a fool and there is no need for someone with Sven's resume to deal with that.
