Spartans release quarterback

Michigan State says backup quarterback Connor Dixon has been granted a release from his scholarship. Dixon came to Michigan State in 2006 from Pennsylvania state champion South Park High. Lewandowski says Dixon has batted shoulder injuries, and indicated he wanted to try a fresh start at another school.

Let's face it, if he thinks he has shoulder problems now... wait till he would have gotten killed by those big D-Lines in the Big Ten.
