UFC: Taylor to fight Dolloway

Posted: Thursday July 03, 2008 08:41AM ET

As was reported earlier this week, ousted TUF 7 finalist Jesse Taylor will get a rare second chance in the UFC when he takes on CB Dolloway on July 19th at UFC Fight Night 14 live on SpikeTV. Taylor was kicked off of the show after a series of drunken escapades came to a head and video tape footage showed Taylor kicking the window from a limo. After the incident, Dana White sent Taylor packing and CB Dolloway fought Tim Creduer to decide who would be the replacement to fight Amir Sadollah in the finals. This will be the first time anybody who has been kicked off of the show for whatever reason gets another chance to fight in the UFC.

I've flushed stuff that looks tougher than that punk. But the druken recklessness makes him sound like a perfect candidate for OSU football or DU-I-KE basketball.

Not a big UFC fan although a lot of you are. I suppose it will one day replace boxing as THE gladiator sport. Personally that would be a sad day, but as people look for more VISUAL gratifications.......I suppose it is an inevitable out come.

Key part of that story above...

"As reported earlier this week..."

So why are you reporting the exact same thing again?

No, people have just realized how boring boxing is and how easily a boxer is dominated in a real fight.

he doesn't deserve this charity Dana. I hate CB but I hope he kicks JT's arse. It will be a good fight but this punk doesn't deserve the opportunity, yet.

Report Offensive Comment

Why doesn't he deserve a second chance? The man has apologized, he's proven his worth in the ring, AND he went to AA, which is good, because he clearly has an alcohol problem.

Taylor has anger problems, I've been trashed a few times in my life and never kicked out a window and harassed the ladies..........well

Report Offensive Comment

Buttman if he really went to AA and got his life straight, then yeah he should be given a second shot at a career in the UFC.

everyone hates on jesse.. im guessing because he ran through every opponent he faced on the show.. made it to the finale.. and at the age of 24 not really having much of a mma background.. and then celebrated by getting drunk and reckless!! the kid messed up, and paid for it. i hope he knocks out cb. cb has got more chances then anyone. and proved nothing except hes awesome at defending the arm bar!! ppl on here are treating jesse like he got caught having a dog fighting ring in 5 different states, takes steroids, and gets drunk goes home and beats his wife.. whatever stop hating the kid is an animal and deserves a second chance.. and cb doesn't even deserve this fight. jess should be fighting amir! why not get these kids some spotlight

OldeTrafford

Where do you get that he went to AA?
And only a moron thinks a visit to AA cures a drinking problem.
How does beating the guy that lost twice at the end mean anything anyway?
What was worse, Dolloway lost the exact same way, just quicker

ALLCAPS attempts to compensate for his limited rhetorical weaponry through the extravagant use of capitalized words - something netizens refer to as SHOUTING. Sure, a sprinkling of capitalized words can add some zip to a thrust, but they should be used sparingly. Even worse from a tactical point of view, too much shouting alerts other Warriors to the opponent's verbal WEAKNESS and emotional EXCITABILITY.
