UFC done with Jesse Taylor?
Jesse Taylor spoke out about Quinton Jackson earlier in the week prior to reports that Rampage's Rampage could have been caused due to mental health problems "What goes around, comes around, I guess," an unsympathetic Taylor was quoted as saying to Cofield in regards to Jackson. In Taylor's defense, he issued his comment before it was learned that Jackson's behavior could potentially be attributed to mental health issues. He also backed off his initial comments after Yahoo! caught up with him for a followup. But the apologetic comments may have come too late. According to Cofield, an unnamed UFC official revealed to him that they were none too pleased with Taylor speaking out against Jackson earlier in the week. Cofield also indicates in his report that Taylor's stock within the promotion might also be hurt by the fact that there are rumors he may not have cleaned up his act to the extent he's portrayed in interviews.

I don't think he will ever get it. He has blown a huge opportunity to be in this sport. Oh well, Walmart is hiring.

No, it goes far beyond that. It comes down to decisions you make, and he is continually making bad ones. Anyone with half a brain would have said they hope the best for Quinton(whether you believe it or not) and that he gets the help he needs. Not "What comes around goes around." When you're already on thin ice, not to mention a nobody in relation to Jackson, you keep your mouth shut, or say the right thing.

Quinton is looney because he has been smacked in the head one too many times. Frank Shamrock was on the TV the other day and he sounded like a moron from south Philly trying to vindicate little kids partaking in MMA. Sure it is fine if you want the kid to have skeletal and brain issues (much like psycho Jackson) by age 15!!! Who cares if the dude showed no remorse...he probably has a hard time putting 2 words together to make a sentence let alone feeling anything towards another human. It has been said over and over that this is about sport and not vendettas or personal bias....this just shows that is total BS!!! MMA should be shutdown.

You are nothing more than a moron. Boxing and getting repeatedly hitting in the head with huge boxing gloves over the long term is far more dangerous for brain trauma then getting hit fewer tmes with smalller gloves and no standing 8 count. Your ignorance about MMA is quite evident and I'm sure it's not the only are that your intellect is far below normal. Take your moronic posts somewhere else.

"JT Money" is a punk. He will never be all he can be when he poisons his own opportunities. He only received a second chance because he was a compelling character in the Ultimate Fighter Show. After losing and failing to follow the company line, he is done i UFC for the forseeable future.

Jason MEATHEAD is a moron not worthy of replies anymore. He is a 10 year old boy posting sensless nonsense in an MMA board trying to ruin the discussions of true MMA fans. Just ignore the birdbrain....
Back on topic, Jessee Taylor is an idiot. What's sad is that competition brings new chances, so i'm sure Affliction or EliteXC will give him a shot, so in Jessee Taylor's mind, why should he grow up? Oh well, what goes around comes around is right, and you will alienate everyone around you with that attitude punk.

MMA fans??? Is that what Frat boys call themselves these days? Shelling out 60 bucks to get the boys together and beer bong Old Milwaukee while the upright Braindead beat on each other isn't exactly a cultural event so stop trying to guise it as such. Comparing MMA to boxing is apples and oranges and if you buy into it you are just as challenged as the sides of beef in the Octagon. Now shouldn't you boys be in class or something???

I thought it was odd that Jesse was back so soon. Dana was gullible for believing you could turn things around so quick.
And Meathead, learn something about MMA before condemning it. Watch Fedor, or BJ Penn, or GSP, or Spider Silva, etc. and you will see that it is really a high skill sport, and can actually be beautiful to watch. Comparing boxing and MMA IS NOT like comparing apples to oranges. Boxing just has more of a tradition and a narrative, but that is because it has been around for so long.
Sorry everybody, end of rant.

I have seen Silva and will admit he is an artist in the octagon, but overall it is a "sport" for chumps who think they are tough. Too many times they will train and waste their lives and get crushed along with their aspirations. It is a sport with a short lifespan. I will give Dana one thing, he is smart to bilk all the true meatheads out of their cash by having a pay per view monthly....the cash cow will be out of milk soon.

This obviously from someone who's never fought and knows nothing...the difference between getting hit with boxing gloves and MMA gloves is huge; there are many ounces more padding in a boxing glove. One punch from a boxing glove can't rip half a guy's cheel off, like Anderson Silva's last fight.
...and I used to box, so at least I can say I know what I'm talking about.
You are the moron.

Have you trained in MMA? because that would make YOU the moron if not.
In boxing all you do is punch. In MMA boxing is only half the battle. Some matches are won with very few punches thrown. It is said that 85% of punches in a boxing match are landed, with the majority of those being to the head.
So while your padding logic may or may not be true, there is a VAST difference in 10 rounds of constant punching to the face, than 3 rounds of moderate punching, thus making boxing more dangerous.
If you were a regular member here you would also realize MEATHEAD is just a chit stirrer, and since you claim you were an actual boxer, then that would make you a fan of fighting, thus you should deem your attacks towards MEATHEAD. Jason70 is the best poster in this MMA forum. And it is only now that true fight fans are beginning to post here, since we should not try to run eachother off.

If you could actually comprehend what i am saying you would understand. Since there is more padding on the boxing gloves the stikes are less brutal, so you end up takng far more in the long run. I agree that one punch from a boxng glove can't take a guy's head off like Silva's punch did. That was my pont. Irvin took 4-5 solid punches. If he was in a boxing match he would have gotten a standing 8 count, and been back at it. He wouldn't have gotten knocked out and would have taken much more damage in the long run, because the fight would have lasted longer.
