With every pound he lost, K.J. Choi felt a little better, but his game got a little worse. With each pound he gained back, Choi's driving distance has gone back up and he expects his scores to go back down. Choi is heavier and happier as he heads into The Barclays, which runs Thursday through Sunday at Ridgewood Country Club and is the first of four tournaments in the PGA Tour's FedExCup playoffs. The world's best Korean-born golfer said the reason he tailed off this season following a stellar start is because he underwent a diet program. The 5-foot-8 Choi dropped from about 185 pounds down to about 170.

Sounds like he got weaker, not just thinner. Sounds like a very, very dangerous diet program. Was it the "Alcatraz bread and water only" diet program?
