Barrett to IndyCar Series

Greg Beck's team is going full-time in the IndyCar Series in 2009 with NASCAR driver Stanton Barrett. Apparently, Barrett, who will be 36 in December, is going to keep his in-house stock car program going by running the Nationwide Series in the early and latter parts of next year.

Are open wheelers that desperate for a driver or is Barrett that desperate to race? The Indy Car series will be over when he runs in the NNS the latter part of next year so there won't be a conflict.

Me too Float. Long red hair. First name of Maggie. Very nice memories there.
I doubt if it's the same girl though. This was about 1969.
