sundin IS the team, he wants to remain in blue and white forever and so do leaf fans.

i don't get the negativity surrounding hijm sometimes, he was a huge part of that late season push for the playoffs they had this year.

also, i think buffalo ran the play out of respect instead of passing it, not taking advantage of the gaping hole because of the tribute, but thats just my thoughts on it

As other people have said, I definitely think its obvious Ferguson needs to go. Maurice is an excellent coach who just hasn't had the proper lineup to work with. I'll stand by whatever decision the Leafs make however, but I really put an emphasis on keeping Maurice behind the bench. Tonight's game against the Canadiens will answer these questions.
