1). Tennessee would have beat UCLA
2). ULCA would not have lost to BYU by 59 points
3). The VOLS would not have been taken to the shed by Florida two years in a row(I think if they had played FLorida in a good game, loss would have been okay)
4). Too many years of unfulfilled expectations with a very talented team
I have several friends who are VOL fans and this is pretty much what I hear from them.

But, if we (as a country) read more than the sports page we will see that a SEPTEMBER 2008 survey by Stanford University showed that "40 percent of all white Americans hold at least a partly negative view toward blacks, and that includes many Democrats and independents."

My point is, let's not pretend that extensive racism does not exist in America in 2008.
