the thing is, teams such as dolphins, chiefs, atlanta, baltimore could use one of these qb's like griese, simms or gradkowsi to play until henne, matt ryan, joe flacco and brodie croyle get ready b/c these guys need to sit and learn. look at romo, brady and jason campbell, derek anderson, philip rivers.

yeah sizemore's numbers are down but he just needs a break, he took 2 days off and then comes and hit 3 doubles and a hr next 2 games. they need more depth in the lineup

as a harcorei indians fan, yeah it really sucks cause victor martinez has 0 hrs and sizemore's a leadoff guy who's doing what he has to do but he's not a run producer. i think hafner needs a break. there's too much pressure for him in the lineup. He's trying to do too much. the year he hit 42 hrs. nobody saw it coming. he needs to calm down. the rest of the lineup is suspect. this lineup needs a spark whether its from the minors (barfield, marte, francisco) or a trade perhaps jason bay or xavier nady. the pitchers are keeping this team a .500 team. the central doesnt look strong early on but detroit is heating up.

when they take a qb in the first round, like ryan or brohm, they're going to start him right away which has a higher chance of failing because look at all the qb's RECENTLY who started right away: alex smith, kyle boller...it takes time, i say take chris long and get that d-line ready or even that weak offensive line, maybe pick jake long. i say take a qb in the second round or even later like flacco or henne, booty, woodson. look at what parcells got out of romo. the thing is that they're not going to win right away. they have to build for the future.
