awesome to see the boys show some pride and take the win. just don't win too many, guys, we need the lottery balls! loved gerald's shooting in the 4th, though. the kid is a scorer. great pull-up jumpers, paint moves, catching and shooting off the curl, just nice stuff. and what can you say about a.j.? the kid is for real. he just keeps banging every night. i hope the promise shown now really plays out. if these young ones keep developing on pace, then i love this team in the next few years. so glad we haven't traded these guys, and i hope we find the one or two missing pieces to kick it up a knotch.

dang, look at them jazz go. are they legit? so many great teams starting poorly this season, it's hard to tell. but if they stay healthy and keep getting that kind of effort they may just find themselves as real contenders come spring.

krish, i wouldn't be surprised if you believe they are all attached with an = sign. as for everyone else, i won't attempt to speak for them.

as obnoxious as he can be it's kind of great to have the rich nut around. unfortunately, he has a lot of good ideas and input. if he learned how to actually be diplomatic he might get more of what he wants. not sure if that's possible with stern, but...

kick him off the team. the only way to deal with this kind of behavior is to get them out of the nba. i know it was self defense and all, but still. if i'm paying someone millions of dollars i would expect them to be exceedingly careful. going to strip clubs and packing? not responsible. not by a long shot. it just reflects badly on the league and the game. i'm a basketball fan, and we don't need any more thugging in the sport. i hope the nba makes it clear that players who get involved in this type of thing will not play in the league for long. really lame.

the pacers may need this season to gel and find a rhythm, but among the new guys they have a lot of veteran talent, and in some ways i think they're even better positioned than in previous years. they could make some noise in short order.

we can only hope the pats find a rhythm and that they have lots of momentum come playoff time. especially if they have to face the broncos again. tough when so many key pieces have changed, though. yeesh.

can dirk bounce back from the championships? will he find a new fire deep in that methodical german soul of his? or will he be forever doubting his ability, forever holding back. if he's ever going to get a ring, he needs to be the scary dirk. the dark dirk. dark nowitzki, that would be a good superhero name.

no need to apologize. the sox (hereafter to be known as the sux) sucked it hard. that was an incredibly disappointing performance from a very talented team that has been very competitive this season. i don't know what happened to them, but if i were part of that organization i would be throwing things. talk about a choke job.
