Oh yeah......and NOT get Texiera. I think a platoon of Swisher/Duncan and matbe Ransom will be Ok for us, and maybe we can make a deal mid-season. I think the focus should be on the SP, even though it was the lack of hitting that was the undoing of the '08 season.

I would rather the Yanks keep the money and trade for Peavy. I dont want to watch Sabathia and all of his 300 pounds for the next 6 years. Even though he is young, he aint healthy, AND he crumbled against the Sox in the 07 playoffs.......So lets fire up the trade-mobile, get Peavy and sign Lowe to a 2-3 year deal.

They will both be back. I love how you come on here and read the comments and then look at the names or pictures of the people who wrote them......yankees suck seems to be a favorite of mets and red sox fans..it just shows thier intelligence and its why i hate fans of both teams.
