Do you think Petrino went over the tapes of Nick Saban in Miami and the way he lied and left, and wanted to outdo him in arseholery? I wonder if he called Saban to get pointers on how to be a jerk. Either way, a new bar for cowardice has been set in the NFL, as far as coaches dealing with players and owners go.

Brett Hull was a great player. That does not mean he has to be a great analyst or a great person. In fact, if the only analyst you'd heard was Brett and if he was the only NHLer you'd met, well, you would think those things are actually mutually exclusive. He used to come into my bar and was always a complete jerk...not in any way more than most jerks; just stuck up and holier-than-thou. Then again, it was at a posh hotel where the team stayed and was frequented by many rich people and he was no worse than most. It just felt more personal because we think just because we see them on TV, they ought to acknowledge us as friends or at least not be****. Doesn't work that way. As an analyst, he is the same as he is as a bar patron: loud-mouth, cocksure, poorly-coiffed and a sad human being.
And that goal to win the Cup against the Sabres was a goal in every year before and every year after the Stars won. That year, it was not. It was a travesty, sickening and that Cup should have a asterix beside it in the history books. And I am a Sens fan. !!!Go Sens Go!!!
