Good for Billy! I'm a die-hard Mets fan and it's about time that someone called these guys out. It was nonsense the LoDuca ran into trouble for saying "it is the Latino guys" when it WAS and IS. Look, it doesn't make it racist to say a group of people who all happen to be of the same racial background do something when it's a fact; it's racist when you speculate it. When was the last time you saw quotes from Reyes or Beltran after a bad game? Delgado --- when do you hear from him ever? I am tired of these guys and I'm tired of Randolph taking the blame. Good for Wagner! Omar Minaya needs to look at himself, not Willie, for "Club Apathy" that he has put together.

For all you morons in here who are saying, "this isn't an insult" --- let's pretend for a moment that you make $100,000 a year for doing your job well for the last 12 years. Now let's pretend you did it well again in 2007, but not perfectly, and your boss announces to you that your new base salarly has been lowered to $71,000 (same percentage) but that you can make up to $112,000 if you do your job absolutely 100% perfectly. You tell me you'd be happy with that. Go ahead. LIARS.

As a Yankee hater, I see this as a nice start toward their eventual long-term demise. I am now hoping the Indians win tonight, Francona gets fired, Torre takes that job, and sticks it to the Yankees. Now THAT would make for some great baseball drama in 2008!

If these allegations are true, and I'm sure they are, I can only hope that Vick, his brother, and Clinton Portis are all devoured by dogs some day in the future. I'm sure the dogs will be easily caught since they will probably be roaming around stoned after their meal.
