cavman5, we suck with or without him in the game. Did you see how we struggled to beat Richmond? I know they are a stout FCS team, but c'mon, any GOOD FBS team could have easily handled them. All of that aside, I agree with HOVA. The kid needs time to reassess where his life is now and where it could be in the future in order to make wise decisions accordingly.
Posted Monday September 08, 2008, About: Junior takes blame for Busch spin
You know who Jr. should have put into the wall. Denny Hamlin. Now, I know Denny was aggressively rubbin' on him because he was upset about the bump in the back, but dang it, Jr. needs to develop a nasty streak about him. I like Jr., but I swear he's becoming just as vanilla as some of the other top tier drivers.

I agree that this is a "good get" for Tony. Now that he will not have the pressure of someone looking over his shoulder, maybe Eury, Jr. will get his head out of his arse, and start making some CC decisions as if he has some sense.

I don't care, Nazzy. I was just having a little fun with you. As you know, I get called all kinds of things in RNF so I just viewed it in that light. LOL

I agree with Yahoo and Iam.
Title should read, 'Yates Chasing John Menard's Bank Account'.

Yahoo? So it's going to be like that, is it? LOL

I think Yates' interest is not as much about Paul as it is about his daddy's money.

I love your optimism regarding my 'hoos, but unfortunately, I don't share it. We have no qb with any game-proven ability so it might make for a very long game and season.

Was this guy sandbagging in practice today or is he in some really inferior equipment?
Posted Saturday August 09, 2008, About: Junior applauds Truex's DEI deal
You can bet your sweet bippy that there will be plenty of quality seats that will become available after next season. What if, and I mean a BIG what if, SHR starts a third team?
Posted Friday August 08, 2008, About: Bud Shootout changing format
Does A-B have ownership of this event that enables them to call it their marquee event? Sounds like they are being a bit "pissy" about the matter, and Barnum & Bailey are trying to appease them before A-B takes their money away from ISC's DIS. It's all about the "Benjamins" to Brian France.
Posted Sunday August 03, 2008, About: Truex talking to Childress?
It's not like he would be any stranger to the horsepower, but the overall program would be light years ahead of the place he's in now.
Posted Saturday August 02, 2008, About: Time for France to step down?
Husker, I can appreciate your perspective on the matter, but your comment would suggest that you haven't been watching enough NASCAR over the past several years. It sounds like you've begun doing what the rest of us should have been doing long ago. Brian France has so alienated the true long-time fans to the point of deep-seeded disgust and disdain for him and the sport of NASCAR that I would say all is nearly to the point of being irretrievably lost.
Posted Friday August 01, 2008, About: Time for France to step down?
NASCAR will be sold to some foreign investors is my prediction. NASCAR is as American as Budweiser formerly was, but maybe not for much longer. Brian France is a plain and simple sellout!

Here's a question for everyone. How many "competition yellows" will we have this week at Pocono? LMBO!
Posted Monday July 28, 2008, About: Kenseth angry over Brickyard tires
I was telling a group of my friends yesterday that I'm glad the only thing I wasted on that dadblame race was my time watching it as opposed to my time AND money. What a friggin' rip-off!

That's (THOUGH). Not (THOUGHT)

Fletch, my brother and best friend, please put him on your F.L. team. I need any advantage I can get to whup your a*ss. I got you on ESPN by a little (thought we're still both in the top 90% in the country), but you got me on Yahoo by quite a bit. He might be good, but I don't think he's that good so again, please put him on your team. LOL!

Any friend of SLY's is not necessarily a friend of mine, but I have been known to make exceptions to my own rules. Now, THAT'S the bottom line.

As for this article, who am I to say whether or not this dude is deserving of his ride? The fact of the matter is, somebody apparently thinks he deserves it, and I'm quite positive that's the only opinion that matters to Marcos.
Posted Friday July 25, 2008, About: Fulmer served media-day subpoena
Wasn't this guy informed that he would be served with a subpoena when/if he ever again showed his face in the state of AL? I don't think he would be foolish enough to allow himself to forget that so he had to be expecting it at some point.
Posted Wednesday July 16, 2008, About: GM rethinking NASCAR ties
Meathead, I would hate to see GM leave but I would welcome a BMW or Mercedes to Nascar if it ever comes to that.
nascarzorin | 07/16/08, 12:17 PM

There has always been animosity towards Japanese imports, but everyone likes the Euros. I love the BMW's and a Mercedes CLK 500 is just beautiful. Why is it that we as Americans will hate on the Jap Scrap until the world stops turning, but embrace a Euro like it was a long lost friend.

MEATHEAD | 07/16/08, 01:18 PM

I believe it's because the Japanese are largely viewed as being the reason the 3 are eliminating jobs here in America. I remember jackman stating on here several months ago that the 3 produced such an inferior product for so long that the Japanese caught, passed, and left them in the dust. The 3 didn't get in their predicament overnight, and they won't get out of it overnight. It's going to be a long and slow climb.

If Tony is as shrewd a businessperson for which he has been given credit, would he not have had at least some knowledge of this news? I think he took every consideration into account before making his decision, and he will be, nevertheless, very successful.
