I have to agree he may well be gone. But I dont think it would be a wise choice he is doing well at UNC and starting to build some solid recruiting classes. Plus he is in the ACC where he can dominate. Is all the extra money and free house worth the intensity and competitveness of the SEC? not to mention the suceed now or chop off his head fans.

Maclin should probably stay to refine his skills just a little bit more....however w/Chase Daniel gone and now possibly Gary Pinkel. Next year will be more difficult. May be time to cash a check.

This is why we should have a playoff. Though on the other hand USC did what they were suppose to against a D-III team dressed in D-I uniforms, while Texas and Florida played higly legit competition.

ohhh...sooo sorry to not include your 1940' or 50's win in Baseball which is such a major college sport and track and field....LOL Please might as well talk about bowling. MU stands no chance at a National title period. Neither does KU. And I really dont care if Pinkel leaves or not...Though he should. It was not two years ago you clowns were calling for his head w/his major botches w/Brad Smith. Now all of a sudden he is the second coming...Or first since you have no history. Please he needs to leave and get paid doing it. A lousy Washington team is a better job than MU cause this is the highest he will ever get.

Another point. They all think they are just coming in and be the next Reggie Bush for one of the top programs. It aint happening then they want to transfer and lose a year of eligiblity so that NFL teams see even more less of them. Recruits need to realize this. Its getting old.

The recruits can only blame themselves. They all rush off to USC just because USC comes calling. Then they all wonder why they cant get any shine. If I was a recruit I wouldnt consider USC as a viable option for RB until they get rid of the committee rotation. Go somewhere where you can "shine" instead of trading in the LA life and a piece of pine for no playing time. If you wanna go pro go elsewhere.

He should leave. He will never win a championship at Missouri. They have never won a championship in any sport. Washington is the better job and if he can turn Missouri around I am postive he could turn Washington around all the while getting paid more to do it. Besides he has recruited pretty good at Missouri so its not like he will be leaving them with nothing. If he is going to leave Missouri now is the time.

In response to BruinsFTW, you guys did get a lot of hype throughout the year and most of the year it was either UNC, UCLA or KU. Most people didn't think Memphis would even make it far in the tourney. As far as being cocky that I am not, I was just stating the obvious. Dont get me wrong UCLA had a good squad but they have choked recently.

As far as stating that the only reason we won is because of a prayer is a bit overstated. We were up on Memphis by 9 at the half and the rest was back and forth. We had one bad stretch of play for 4 min that allowed Memphis to build their final lead. We beat Memphis throughout the rest of the game.

I dont know about getting luckier, yea we had a fairly easy road to the final 4 this year but Davidson is far better than most people think. They played like 3 top 10 teams to the final minute. The point is, we didnt choke on our cake...Unlike UCLA

Doesnt matter, I dont think this Stepheson kid will make that big of a difference. UCLA will still probably win the Pac-10, get a whole lot of hype, get rewarded a cake walk through the tourney, then get outplayed by a much better team in the Final 4. Sound familiar.....
