What games are you people watching. T.O. "drops" passes that most receivers don't get to. His so-called "drop" last week was on a pass that was thrown behind him, at calf level, and less than six inches from the trailing defensive back. Why not get him the ball, you at least give yourself an opportunity for the big play. This is not to say that this should not be done within the confines of the offense but the fact of the matter is that T.O. and Barber should be featured in the offense, just as Irvin and Emmit were in the Cowboy's heyday. And by the way, who ever demanded the ball more than Irvin? Three super bowls later . . . I guess that was selfish too!

He is absolutely right! The Wizards can't beat the worst teams in the league! They are missing their best offensive player (Arenas) for 1/2 of the year. Their best defensive player (Haywood) for most if not all. So, he is being honest, straightforward and realistic. Tank the season, get a high draft pick and let their players get healthy again for next year. Maybe, having bad luck with all these injuries will benefit them in the long run.

I can't even believe people still use the "Kobe couldn't or hasn't done anything without Shaq". Did Shaq go to Miami and win that championship on his own? Wasn't there a certain D-Wade who just so happened to carry that team in the finals? Didn't Jordan have Pippen? Tim Duncan have Robinson, Parker and Ginobili? Didn't Pierce need KG & Allen?

There is not a single player in the world who can carry a team to a championship. Shaq went from one of the best one-two punches in L.A. to a great one-two punch in Miami with D-Wade. Shaq couldn't have won those championships in L.A. without Kobe's clutch play in the finals either. That argument is as dumb as those who still use it, including Shaq.

It's the coach's responsibility to field the team that gives them the best opportunity to win. Beasley must learn to play both ends. They cannot afford to have a defensive liability on the floor with the game hanging in the balance.
