Posted Thursday July 03, 2008, About: Rodgers tries to explain Pack fan rap
I don't think anyone said that Rodgers is anything like Favre when it comes to the fans mlbfan76. Don't get on him now because he's telling the truth. The fans should be behind him, he IS our quarterback. If you don't like him, then you don't like him. But once he succeeds don't jump on and say " I've always been an Aaron Rodgers fan." This whole thing is stupid, he made a truthful comment that he later clarified.

Why does anyone even care?
Posted Wednesday March 12, 2008, About: Packers search for Rodgers' backup
I never said to get rid of Aaron. Not once did I say to throw him to the side because i am a huge Aaron Rodgers fan. I'm excited to see him play, he has potential to be a very good QB. There are no good veterans out there now. Incase you haven't noticed they only have Aaron. So drafting a QB if that's an option in the 4TH or 5TH round near the end doesn't sound like such a bad idea. I want them to take Cromartie in the first round, if he's there when they come up. The Packers don't have any real needs. Maybe OT (Clifton and Tauscher are getting older) or a CB for the same reason as the OTs. So therefore there arn't many undermanned ositions on the team. Aaron needs a back up, if it's a veteran or a rookie, he needs one. Brennan was very good in college and he didn't play great in the Sugar Bowl, he was terrible, I said that. Give him a chance. Who knows he could be a great QB or he could be a terrible QB, you don't know. Give him a chance.

I think they should draft a QB in the 4th or 5th round. There will be two solid QBs that I have my eye on. One would be Colt Brennan and the other would be John David Booty. Despite Brennan's less than steller proformence against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, I think hes got a strong arm and would be good. I hear a lot that he's too small. Brett was only 6' 2", the same height as Brennan (although Brennan only weighs 185lbs). John David Booty on the other hand is a great QB. Not to mention that he's comming out of USC, which has produced very good QBs. I wouldn't go after Quinn Gray just for the fact that he's not very talented. And for the same reason that c note said, he does have limited experience as a starter, is the reason that I would not pick him up. Either draft a QB or sign a veteran, and there isn't many left on the market that are any good.
Posted Wednesday March 12, 2008, About: New contract for Browns GM
He deserves it. Who knows the Browns coul make it all the way to the AFC Championship game. They have good talent and they have made a lot of moves in free agency.
Posted Monday March 10, 2008, About: Will Seahawks dump Alexander?
Alexander is out. His numbers have been in a steady decline over the last two seasons. As far as the Hawks being dominant...I don't think so. It's the Madden curse. He hasn't been the same since he was the coverboy of 2007.
Posted Sunday March 09, 2008, About: Will Packers turn to Green?
Green would be a solid back up, even though he has serious brain and head issues. But I doubt there's any truth to this. Let Aaron Rodgers have his starting job! He's waited long enough!
Posted Sunday March 09, 2008, About: Rams deny Holt trade rumors
They won't trade him. As of right now he's the only WR of any serious talent that they have, since they cut Bruce.
Posted Saturday March 08, 2008, About: D'Antoni: Suns better with Shaq
I'm a Suns fan and I was excited about the Shaq trade. All I can say is it was a terrible trade. Sure Shaq looked good against the loss to the Lakers but besides that he has done little to help the team. In my opinion he slows them down. And for D'Antoni to say the Suns are better with him, look at your record since the trade coach, your team is 3-6.
