Most of the major advertisers for US TV (financial, auto, insurance) are in financial trouble. I don't see PGA purses rising much next year which would quickly lead to players going elsewhere if the purses are bigger.

He's right! Tiger hit it all over the place, Mediate was up the middle all 4 days but it came down to the putting.

HGH speeds up recovery. If you are playing 4 days in a row in a tournament, recovery is important, especially in hot weather conditions. This is definitely an issue.

It's marketed as a system where you might own 1 head but two shafts that you change based on conditions. The key being you can change the shaft (or the head) quickly (and prior to your round, not during). Pro's have all the support available to have any shaft, any head, any grip set up for them pronto. Is Phil trying to show this isn't just for amatuers?

HGH helps a person recover. Golf is not as physical as football or track and field, but HGH is a performance enhancer. 4 rounds in 90 degree heat is physically taxing. If they weren't testing for HGH and other performance enhancers, then they were probably being used.

For the cut rule, I can recall a couple players making the cut on the number and getting hot on the weekend, either winning or getting a healthy top 10. The top 10's are more important with the points race.

They only show a few players on TV each week, but the paying spectators are being cheated on the weekends from seeing other players. If the new cut rule was to speed up play on weekends, they should try to speed up play by enforcing time rules instead of limiting golfers.
