yea as a rangers fan i dont want avery back at all. he was a great sparkplug for a sluggish team for a season n a half but his act gets repetitive and detrimental to the team very quickly. this rangers team doesnt need that head-case, good move sather.

yea although lowe would be a good guy to plug into the rotation n eat innings, he does not deserve 15-16 mil per year and hes probably gonna get it. i say the mets go with garland who 14 games last year n will be alot cheaper of an option. technically the mets only need a 3rd or 4th starter. with johan at the top, pelfrey coming into his own ace status, maine getting back from injuery, garland would be a pefect 3rd/4rd guy. plus it'd save money for MAN-RAM

i know the yankess have the money to do this and im pretty positive that they can get it done. having said that, i have no idea where they'll be able to pay for a right fielder to replace abreu or another bat in left if they decide no to go with nady if theyre planning on getting lowe too. i mean dont get me wrong they would have by far the best rotation in baseball with Sabathia,Wang,Burnett,Lowe,n Joba but thats all they'll be able to spend on. even for them this is a rediculous amount of money being thrown around n i wont be surprised if it comes back to haunt them.

the mets need to sign fuents most likely and either lowe or burnett for a second of third starter role behind johan. i still wouldnt mind adding a bat in the outfielder considering theyre getting no production from left field. i wouldnt say manny but how bout signing abreu for cheap and trading church/maybe moving him to left. i dont know im just not satisfied with the outfield right now. o and about the wright and reyes comment "metfanforlife" please all wright needs to do is start hitting the ball to right field again n he'll be fine. reyes is also the most talented player in baseball n hes gonna get it together someday too. look at jimmy rollins hes only been an elite player int he league for a few years now after breaking bad habbits when he was a kid. sorry for the tangent
