BruceS1G,

Don't let this moron take you daown that path man, you're better than that. Both teams are stacked for the next few years. The recruiting calsses are very strong. I don't think that it is a flasj in the pan what so ever. That is unless you would like to describe Alabama in the same manner. What this is shaping up to be is comparable to UGA and UF in the east. I think that Bama has taken the spot that Auburn has occupied for so long. I must be clear, it is still early in the season and many things can happen. Look at the last 4 reg season games from last year.

I agree with your statement. I think that Alabama is a good team but some of their fans are real idiots as well. As I always say "everybody has that crazy uncle" we in Louisiana seem to have bigger family's Ha! It's going to be a great game. Since LSU has been winning these last few years and collecting championships, some of the fans are not content with a 10 win season. This is hillarious to me. There are so many teams out there that would love to have the record we have. The bottom line is that it will be a great game and besides we aren't scheduled to win another National Championship for 3 more season. Geaux Tide, Roll Tigers!

Either position would be great for him. He gets a college education for free.

I don't think it will be the Saints. New Orleans needs the revenue and that would be a horrible PR move. Besides, when they were talking about moving a few years ago, the ticket sales were down. Now they are sold out for the last few seasons. I can see it now"Saints abandon New Orleans" it would be a P.R. nightmare for the Boogie Man Tom Benson.

I'll tell you what was a nice ride Shaq drove a tricked out Blazer in the early nintey's at LSU. His front plate said Shaq Traq. It was red and all pimped out. He would take up two spaces at Broussard hall.

Whatever, we'll see. If we are going to get a receiver I hope we get Rueben Randle. We already got Kenny Bell so Randle would be the capstone for this class.

Oh yea, Joe Horn played for Itawamba. All of these guys had good careers despite coming form the small schools. And in this case small MS schools.

Walter Peyton played for Jackson State, Steve McNair played for Alcorn, Favre Played for Southern Miss and the list goes on. Small schools do produce some big time players.

Yea, that's easy for a kid that grew up in MS. He played for Valley as we call it. Other call it Mississippi Valley State.

Yo're right about the education and the small school atmosphere but not eeryone looks at your education as compared to the institution. Who do you think gets the better job, the guy that finished last in his Law Schol at Stanford or the guy that finished first from the University of Bugtussell? Reputation does matter when it comes to this. Look I graduated from a DIII school too. It was and is one of the best academically in my state but if would have gone to Tulane, the name would have been associated with higher academic standards.

I just looked at his Rivals profile and the kid has a 4.56 GPA and a 26 on his ACT. I am a HUGE SEC fan but I think the kid made the right choice. If you are willing to admit it SEC fans, we sit around during the off season hoping the majority of our skill players can qualify academically to play. They are posting 16's on the ACT and going to summer school to improve their GPA's. This kid has his head screwed on straight. Go to Stanford, get an education so if you you happen to blow out a knee or something drastic happens you have that to fall back on.

SEC teams. Come play up North in December, get out of your sunshine and turf fields, then see how fast you are!

Not trying to start any **** slinging here but I don't think Ohio State plays in December. Remember?, That's why you guys have to sit and wait for the rest of the season to play out. Just an observation.

Sorry I didn't read this far ahead before commenting. I couldn't stand all of the conference bashing that was going on by our pimple faced compadre's. TP will be coached and mentored by some of the best in the nation at OSU. His throwing style may or may not be corrected but end the end, if he's comfortable, accurate, and effective with it.....who cares if it's ugly or non-traditional. As far as the arguements on the first few pages of this blog, give it a rest. You guys can just fan mail each other instead of proving how goofy you sound. There are only a few guys on this site that actually played DI football and the vast majority of the rest only wished they did. So how can you say that any of these payers or teams suck? C'mon ...........are we going to have to seperate you and ground you from your Wii ? I don't believe that LSU is a dynasty yet. They may never reach that status. The SEC has 3-4 teams in the top ten every year and usually 5 in the top twenty five. The power changes hands on a regular basis so I don't believe that a dynasty can be established. What I do know is that they have 2 BCS championships in the last 5 years. This makes them a pretty good team to say the least. USC is the same way. I consider OSU in the same statement. These guys and Oklahoma have multiple appearances. So as far as the "sucks" term is being thrown around, I don't think it applies to the schools that you fella's are arguing about.
