He just doesn't pull up at the warning track, he can't get to the bloopers either. When is the last time he layed out for a ball. We could loose some run production if the D was better and let fewer runs score.

Michelle as a diehard Yankee fan I would have to disagree with your comment. Abreu is not considered a star to carry the team. He is actually quite a bargain at the price. He has an above average arm and a pretty good RBI total. He just goes about his way and stays productive.

I understand what you are saying and respect you opinion, but I think he is too tenitive out in the field and allows to many hits that shouldn't be. I know we could have someone far worse out there but I think we can get better too.

In my opinion Abreu has very limited range and his bat isn't as good as it used to be. Plus he is getting up in age. I would love for us to get younger and faster... we have prospects out there that should be given more of a chance.
