Posted Wednesday August 20, 2008, About: Ricky OK coming off Miami bench
News flash to all those in fan nation --- It doesn't matter who starts as RB in Miami. The Dolphins have no quality receivers, so both Brown & Williams will get plenty carries this season.
Posted Wednesday August 20, 2008, About: Boldin-Cardinals relations getting ugly
Boldin needs to consider Tampa Bay. Garcia's a better QB than Warner, he'll get all of the touches and would have a better chance at making the playoffs - all of this will add up to more money at the end of the season for both him and his agent.
Posted Wednesday August 20, 2008, About: Heat taking look at Magloire
D-Wade is showing that he's back to his old self. Shawmn Marion is still in good condition, and Haslem is the best dirty-worker in the game. So why isn't Miami looking for a legit centre to make a push for the playoffs in the upcoming season? I think Riley wants Wade to demand for a trade a the end of next season, so that he can fill the Heat with a bunch of 'flea-market' players.
Posted Monday July 14, 2008, About: Favre's possible Green Bay exit strategy
I say Favre should go to Tampa Bay. He could teach Gruden how to run an offense, and I'm sure Favre would love throwing the ball to a receiver like Galloway. I know Green Bay fans would love to have Favre end his career as a 'Cheese-head', but it would be lovely to see him win a Super Bowl with another team.
Posted Monday July 14, 2008, About: Marion interests Clippers, Warriors
All of a sudden Marion is a nobody because the Heat had a bad record last season? Don't forget, it was Shaq's ineffectiveness that cooled the Heat, and now he's mooning the Suns. Pat Riley needs to stop actin like he's at an NBA garage sale, going after all of those third and forth option players. The Heat need to go after free-agents that bring something to the table. At least, when they had Shaq, the Heat could've looked forward to making the playoffs.
Posted Saturday July 05, 2008, About: Sources: Warriors want Brand
Everything that glitters ain't gold - so the Warrior's offer to Elton Brand may just be fools gold. The Clippers seem more serious about building a better team than the Warriors do. Brand and Baron Davis' injuries are a result of them going beyond the call of duty for their clubs. With two all-stars on one team, there's less pressure on both to put-up big numbers every game. So welcome back Brand, and have a homecoming for Davis.
Posted Saturday July 05, 2008, About: Sources: Knicks will dump Marbury
Marbury is a fierce competitor, who's attitude can be taken the wrong way. I think New York should part ways with him while they could still get some value for him. Marbury's agent might want to start aligning his client with teams like Chicago, Cleveland, Miami, Orlando, Detroit, or even Boston. Imagine Marbury and Garnett on the same team again. Doc Rivers will be able to have some control on "Starbury", and I'm sure th3e fans in New England would love to have the boys in green repeat as champions.
Posted Friday July 04, 2008, About: Celtics' Rivers makes pitch to Maggette
I'd hate to see Maggette leave the Clippers, and dislike it even more if he signed with the Celtics. With Maggette in the Celtics line-up, they just might pull-off the NBA's first undefeated season - if not - they'll certainly repeat as champs.
Posted Wednesday July 02, 2008, About: Jones leaning to Buccaneers
I'm a big-time Bucs fan, and I say FIRE GRUDEN!
Posted Wednesday July 02, 2008, About: Heat interested in Telfair, Lue
Though I'm a fan of Shawn Marion, I think the Heat can trade him for a post threat like Jemain O'Neal, Rasheed Wallace, Elton Brand, Zach Randolph or even back to the Suns for Amare Stoudamire. Loading up on non-impact players will cause a usually calm and collected Dwayne Wade to loose his cool, and demand for a trade. If the Heat want to get back to the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference they need to stop trying to draw water from rocks!
Posted Wednesday July 02, 2008, About: Agent: Davis to sign with Clippers
With Baron Davis in the starting line-up, and if Elton Brand Stays, the Clippers will do more than make the playoffs. They'd actually be contenders for an NBA Championship title. I say pay for Maggette to stay, then trade him early next season for a couple of solid players.
