OMG, this would be incredible if it happen, I wish the roster was filled with guys that play as hard and love the game as much as Russel. Oh yeah he had a poor postseason with the bat, lets remember he's a catcher, and by the way he hit everywhere in the lineup. Show me a catcher that can do this. And wouldn't this mean the Yankees should've gotten rid of A-Rod, Angels of Vladi, etc etc etc. I'm a dodger fan, and I'd be pretty mad if this happens.

It sucks that there's no loyalty anymore in sports today, It's all business and dollars. Varitek has been great for Boston and baseball, he has a "bad" year and they throw him away just like that? not right!

Good point BarcaMesQueUnClub, Im a hard core Madrid fan and he did put fear on us for a while there, but then again I think Barcelona mistreated him. Although he is suppossed to take better care of himself, he isn't a slave either, soccer players can go out and party as long as it doesn't interfere, but I just think the media makes to big a deal of this just because he is Ronnie.

After 2 games I really think some of you are being a little to harsh on a player that hadn't played in a long time. I dunno if it's gonna happen, but if you're gonna give this type of opportunity to a player, you have to give him more than about 100 minutes of playing time to get back in rythm. In addition, in today's soccer you can't depend in only one player, it's much more competitive now and you need all 11 players playing hard and together. Peace!

I hate it when people talk without having any facts, Beltre could've juiced, but How do you know that for sure??? Because he had his best season that year?
Anyway, the Dodgers need to try and keep Manny, and if Blake leaves, then they need another good hitter if not they're gonna have the same problems as always.

Hitting, please we need some ^%^$* bats, How mucha longer do Dodger fans have to suffer with the same problem? How long has it been since we dont have an RBI,HR hitter? I can only think of Piazza and way back to Darryl Strawberry.

For God's sake we need hitting. How many more years are we gonna have the same problem. Yes, we need a ss, but what difference is it gonna make if our leader in HR is probably gonna have about 25 at the end of the year. If they make the playoffs, swept again???

For God's sake, cant the Dodgers realize that yeah why might need a ss, but what we really need is bats. How long has it been sinc the Dodgers have the same problem, no hitting? It sucks cause I fall in love with them every year, and then I get cruched before August.
