No wonder the news paper industry is failing. You would think a writer in the New England area would know who played at the schools in the area
Posted Sunday June 15, 2008, About: Vick's brother arrested for DUI
How things can change in 3 years. Michael was the face of the NFL and Marcus was leading VT to a bunch of wins and probably assumed he would be an NFL star just like his brother. Then, Marcus gets arrested for weed and partying with a 15 year old girl and Michael decides to be a tough guy and kill dogs....DOWNWARD SPIRAL

What the hell is Korynda (nice name, btw) doing in a night club when she is pregnant? She is showing her lack of parenting acumen at a very early stage. Let's take my unborn child to a place where there will be lots of drunk people, blunt smoke in the air...and guns!!!!

The state should have her tubs tied off because she does not need to download a bunch of kids since parenting doesn't seem to be her strong suit

I don't tend to take the opinions of a woman who squeezed out 12 kids on welfare while being a crack addict. My guess is the 12 kids weren't fathered by the same man either. This ridiculous woman needs to shut her mouth and be glad that one of her litter hit the genetic lottery and she will now get a nice new home and some bling

As a bulls fan, he is great for about two years. But, his approach and attitude eventually start **** off the players, and they shut him down.
Posted Thursday April 03, 2008, About: Bengals' Henry charged with assault
He was already suspended for half a season for being a retarded moron. How about the league just gets rid of this idiot for good. Sorry pal, but you have lost the privilege of playing the the NFL since you can't seem to stop getting arrested.
Posted Tuesday March 18, 2008, About: Falcons-Raiders trade almost done
DHall is so overrated. He is a decent CB, but he thinks he is elite. His attitude is horrible and the Falcons are really just getting rid of anyone who was a supporter of Vick. Crumpler was their best player, but he was openly a supporter of Vick, so he is gone. I don't blame them for trying to wash their hands of the whole Vick era...they weren't ever going to win with him anyway. So, time to blow it up and start over.

This is the same kid who got his UNC scholarship revoked for selling weed at his high school his senior. Safe to say he isn't exactly a MENSA member

No one ever said Tim Couch or Akili Smith were pro-bowl or top 10 QBs in the league. Where you were drafted has nothing to do with how good a player you were. Of course I would take Vick over Couch because Couch couldn't run or throw.

Schaub didn't get get on the field because vick sold more tickets in Atlanta. But he is a better pure passing QB. Garcia was great last year in Philly, taking them to the playoffs, and he was great this year before he got hurt. Garrard is the #4 rated QB this season. Campbell is on potential, but I'd rather have him as my QB than vick because at least he has some accuracy to his passes

jason campbell is on his way to being far better than vick ever was

soflaboy....david garrard is a better QB than vick, so add him to the list. Jeff garcia, matt schaub...I'd even take him over vick

Just because the QB position is watered down today doesn't mean Vick was a good QB. He was one of them watering it down. The most overrated player in the last 15 years, in my opinion.

Your second point, I have to disagree with totally. I think Tony Dungy is more liked, by a long shot, than Belli-cheat. I can't stand that ****. I really hope he retires at the end of the year so I don't have to hear him anymore. Tony Dungy is a great coach, but more importantly, a great man. He priorities are in order and he is a man of high moral character, and everyone knows that. So, he wouldn't get caught cheating, and if something did seem a little off, most people would give him the benefit of the doubt because he is of such high moral fiber

Poor antonio...
.i wonder what would happen if this was tom brady....you wanna discredit mike vicks abilities because you have some freakish attraction to filthy dogs..

1. If Tom Brady or Brett Favre killed dogs, I would feel the same way about it. they should go to jail and serve their time.

2. I want to discredit Vick as a QB only because he isn't a good QB. 50% completion IS NOT any good in the NFL. a 1 to 1 TD to INT ratio isn't any good in the NFL. He's nothing more than a RB who took direct snaps from center. That's why he should come as a RB like Reggie Bush...he never was a good QB.

Obviously intending to steal a candy bar is not as bad as accidentally killing a person, but you are not comparing apples to apples. My contention is intentionally killing a person is worse than accidentally killing a person.

You won't convince me because of Vick did is disgusting. But, the definition of manslaughter is "Voluntary Manslaughter is the intentional killing of a human being in which the offender had no prior intent to kill and acted during "the heat of passion", under circumstances that would cause a reasonable person to become emotionally or mentally disturbed."

As I said before, it's about intent. Vick intended to run a criminal enterprise and kill dogs....there is a difference

SoFlaBoy...the reason her sentence was so short was because her husband had abused her. Her lawyers were able to use this excuse and use testimony of neighbors that he was an abusive husband, so she wasn't sent up for life. Plus, it was manslaughter....not murder.

You won't be able to convince me

He should be able to earn a livelihood, no question. But it shouldn't be guaranteed to be in the NFL. As Bandit77 has said, playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a right.

Nothing wrong with him getting a minimum salary job to put food on the table.

And, I think anyone who participates in dog fighting is a sick, twisted person. Not saying they are all serial killers, but they at least have something wrong with them and I wouldn't want any of them around my children
Posted Tuesday December 11, 2007, About: Vick still has future in NFL
Moondizzle...the biggest factor in criminal courts in intent. Vick had made the choice to fight his dogs and to kill them for not fighting well. That was his INTENT. not to mention, one of the FBI's indicators of a serial killer is the mis-treatment and killing of animals.

Little had an accident. I'm not trying to say that the lady who died because of Little doesn't matter, but Little didn't go out that night saying, "I'm gonna get drunk and run down somebody"

I love the "people kill humans and get less time than Vick" excuse. Please find me an example of where a person is convicted of murder and got less than two years in jail!!!

And, not involuntary manslaughter. Pre-meditated murder would NEVER get less than two years. Stop trying to defend this criminal thug
