Posted Wednesday November 19, 2008, About: Knick questions Celtics' toughness
"but 'til you do something, it don't mean nothing." Take your own advice there Q, you've done exactly ****. The Celtics are tough because they have a ring and know what it takes to win. Plus I'd take KG over you ANY DAY in a fight. Dude would kick your ****.
Posted Friday November 07, 2008, About: D'Antoni yanks Gallinari from rotation
No one will be able to save the Knicks within the next few years. Not the coach, not Walsh, and certainly not any of the players on that roster. Look Knicks fans you will have to suffer two or three seasons before you see a payoff. Stop expecting things to be fixed overnight. Bad contracts take time to come off the books and draft picks take time to develop.
Posted Friday November 07, 2008, About: Knicks vying for Harrington
The Knicks are a mess. Can we just leave it at that? I don't think adding another guy with a bad attitude is going to help anything even if it does move Curry. Besides, I think they???d have to give up more than Curry anyway. I bet Lee will have to be shipped as well.
Posted Thursday November 06, 2008, About: Why D'Antonio won't give in to Marbury
Let's see, pay a guy 20 million to be a cancer for the team and create controversy for the new coach who's trying to create a brighter future, or pay a guy 20 million to get out and finally put an end to his garbage. Neither is a good option, but one at least makes sense. I think Knicks fans need to learn a new chant, "Fire Walsh". That guy has to stop being such a puss and back up the coach and the rest of the team.

Walsh needs to grow a pair and buy Marbury out.
Posted Wednesday November 05, 2008, About: Pistons eyeing Carlos Boozer
I don't see Boozer going to D Town. If he wants to get paid the max he can get then he'll stay in Utah because they can and will offer him the most money. If he's more interested in location he'll go to Miami given that is where his permanent address is. But honestly, who in their right mind would leave a guy who gets you the ball as easily as Williams does?

I think I speak for all sports fans when I say shut up. Wall Street greed has cost this country its economy. Athlete???s greed? I don't think so. You may not like him or appreciate him but don't pretend like you speak for everyone. You are just an angry old jackass. If you don't like professional sports today then stop watching and good riddance. I am so sick of hearing people complain about how great things used to be. I have news for you. We live in 2008, it is time to start dealing with it and stop complaining.

The Jazz...ha, that's as plausible as him going to Dallas.
Posted Thursday October 30, 2008, About: Is Oden officially injury prone?
That's a pretty good line. I agree about KG too, he needed Pierce to carry some the burden.
Posted Thursday October 30, 2008, About: Is Oden officially injury prone?
I agree, he's been overhyped in the NBA. But seriously he did very well in college and in high school. Players are not just given those awards for nothing. Let's not diminish those. And frankly we need to give him some time before we can really judge him. You could be right Hllywd. But why not hold off the judgments until he's played at least a few full games? If you want to call him injury prone that is one thing. But questioning if he deserves to be there is another. And Al_Cheese scoring is not his game, but dictating a game with his defense is.
I remember when Boozer came to the Jazz he was injury prone and everyone here kept questioning his talent and wanting him to be traded. But once he got healthy everyone shut up pretty quickly. I think Oden could do the same thing. Believe me, as a Jazz fan I'd like nothing more than have the Blazers continue to suck, but I think Oden can be an impact player when he finally gets healthy. It would be a nice change to have a superstar who is not a complete dick.

So I guess it isn't intriguing that he won the 2005 National Boys Basketball Player of the Year, becoming the first junior since LeBron James to do that? Look, all I'm saying is he looked like he was going to be very good. And still might.

That's rich, a Mavs fan saying a player on another team is awful in the clutch. Thanks for the comedy routine.
Posted Thursday October 30, 2008, About: LeBron eyeing Lakers & Mavs
Did you really just compare Lebron to Nick Saban? Come on man. I agree that you can't trust what players say, but Nick Saban? Really? Here's a better one. Carlos Boozer said he'd stay in Cleveland, how'd that turn out?

2005 and 2006 PARADE High School Player of the Year

2006 McDonald's All-American
2006 Naismith Prep Player of the Year
2007 AP All-American 1st Team
That's what the hullabaloo was about.

Dallas? This must be a joke. I thought he wanted to win?

Sprains happen all the time to all kinds of players. Now if it was his knee again or his wrist again then I would really start worrying. Right now it just seems like really bad luck. And this guy was not overrated in college. He averaged 15 points, over 3 blocks and nearly 10 rebounds a game and that was with his wrist injury. Besides, no one said he would be dominant as a scorer; it is his defense that people love about him. I do not think anyone can say what kind of player he will turn into in the NBA at this point, but lets not knock the guys past. He led his team to the national title game and was named to the All-American 1st team. He's been overhyped and overrated since he came into the NBA, but before that, be honest, he looked pretty good.
Posted Wednesday October 29, 2008, About: Sources: Harrington wants out of Golden State
Bad news for the Warriors when one of their captains asks for a trade before the first game. Good luck with the undrafted rookie point guard too. What a mess.

Shut up tubby.

He is right on this one, but I doubt any owners will listen.
Posted Wednesday October 29, 2008, About: Oden: I'll be in gym tomorrow
At least it wasn't something with his knee.
Posted Tuesday October 28, 2008, About: Suns GM under pressure
You too. You bring up good points. Although I think having a back-up who allows Nash to rest is a big issue for the Suns because every year it seems like Nash kind of runs out of fuel in the playoffs. He's not getting any younger either.
