Yes without a doubt he should be gone!!! His best year was with all of Tyrone Willinghams recruits like Quinn. He said give him a couple of recruiting years and they have. What is there to show for? His star QB is not that much of a star. I don't think ND can ever return to the greatness it once had but Weis is not bringing it closer.

McLellan was recently a part of the Detroit organization. I am sure he learned a great deal on how to let the players play while the coach manages the bench. The Wings have always been treated as professionals. It sounds like the last coach of the Sharks didn't.

Hossa is a very dynamic player who will fit in extremely well with the Wings. The Wings' powerplay was automatic last year without Hossa, whats it going to be like this year with Hossa in the mix? Their ability to score even strength has increased dramatically. Hossa is from Europe where they all play defense.

I am not knowledgable of the O'Sullivan situation but I am guessing he doesn't want to be tied down long term if he has a breakout season and or he wants out of L.A.. It has to be one or two of those. It has nothing to do with ego like some have mentioned in this chain.

The Leafs fail because of their OWNERSHIP! Steve Yzerman was drafted to be the cornerstone of franchise. He is a Hall of Famer that has been recognized as one of the classiest people in all of hockey. That aside he was around on how the Red Wings Front Office built a franchise that has dominated the NHL for long time now. He was a part of what the Leafs are in desperate need of. He is the man for the job! I'd take him in Boston.....
